Linda wouldn’t have been this angry if it was just about smuggling in their preferred actors. She could simply choose not to hire them.

This was because it was still undergoing significant revisions. The final version had not been confirmed

Linda had always believed that the presence of competitors pushed her to do better. Having a reference point allowed her to learn from their strengths where she fell short. Any weaknesses in the competitor’s work were opportunities for her to improve and fill the gaps.
