Chapter 390
William guessed that the family of three was about to head out, so he didn’t linger for long.
It was also a way of protecting himself, as seeing Linda’s family so happy made his heart ache.
Linda went upstairs to look for Lex. She found her to be asleep inside the bubble ball. She struggled to get Lexi out of the ball carefully.
The bubble ball was something Lex had insisted on. She first asked Linda and Samson for it before eventually persuading her grandparents to get it.
Unda was reluctant to get the bubble ball because it would be difficult to get Lexi out once she was inside. And it was evidentnow.
Fortunately, the bubble ball was light, so it wasn’t too heavy for a child.
“Mommy, It’s so comfortable sleeping in here. Can I sleep here tonight, too?”
Lexi wasn’t grumpy. She had a good temperament for child
“But it’s easy to catch a cold sleeping here. Do you want to catch–acold Eke Mommy?
Lex shook her head.
“Mommy, did you finish talking with Uncle William?
Linda looked around but didn’t see William
“Uncle Willam has to go back to work”
“Then, why did Mommy wake me up?”
“Where’s your smartwatch? Linda noticed the missing pink smartwatch on Lexi’s wrist
“It’s charging on my room’s desk”
“Daddy just called and said he was inspecting some work and saw an amusement theme park. He asked if you wanted to go.”
Linda, wearing a mask, didn’t get too close to Lexi
“What’s the theme?”
Lexi’s tastes were refined even at her young age. She wouldn’t go to places she disliked.
“You can video call Daddy and ask him!
”
She handed Lexi the phone Samson quickly answered the call
“Daddy, what’s the amusement park like? I won’t be going if I don’t like ¡L”
“What’s the cartoon that you mentioned
Samson wasn’t familiar with the names of children’s cartoons
“Frogen!” Lexi was currently obsessed with it
