“Alright, if you really can’t handle it, you can call me for backup.” Lina offered. 

Linda smiled. “I shouldn’t need to call you. After all, I’ve been in this industry for a while.” 

Linda knew that if she didn’t let reporters ask their questions, it could lead to bigger problems later. It was better to address things head–on and avoid unnecessary complications. 

“True.” Lina put her phone away. “I almost forgot that you’re Amber F.” 

“Is that a compliment or an insult?” Linda questioned. 

Lina replied. “Of course, it’s a compliment. Everyone acknowledges your skill.” 

After the launch event ended, it was time for the press interviews, 

As Linda had anticipated, the reporters were all focused on her. The film’s lead actor was a newcomer 

without much hype, so it was normal for them to receive less attention. 

“Ms. Felix, are you here as YK Media’s representative to prove something?” 

Linda faced the camera and answered, “Whether I am or not is none of your concern.” 

“Ms. Felix, do you follow the news of your ex–husband, Mr. Wilson?” 

Linda replied, “No, I never pay attention to things or people that aren’t meaningful.” 

“Ms. Felix, Mr. Wilson mentioned that you were his one and only spouse. What’s your take on that?” 

She said, “I don’t have much to say. I believe the best answer was given four years ago.” 

“Ms. Felix, if Mr. Wilson pursues you relentlessly in the future, will you respond?” 

Linda answered, “No.” 

“Ms. Felix, even if Mr. Wilson has truly changed, wouldn’t you consider giving him a chance?” 

Linda replied, “A chance? That word doesn’t exist in my dictionary. Besides, giving too much of it is 

meaningless.” 

“Ms. Felix, if Mr. Wilson pursues you, what would you do?” 

Linda answered, “I wouldn’t do much. My prospects are good, and I have plenty of admirers. He doesn’t 

measure up.” 

She glanced at Lina, signaling that she could step in to end the interview. 

Lina moved forward and guided Linda away. “Thank you, everyone. The interview concludes here. Please contact Ms. Lane for any further questions” 

in the car. Lina reflected on Linda’s responses “Are you really okay?”

Linda questioned, “What do you mean?” 

“Your answers to those reporters just now,” Lina replied. 

“It’s fine, don’t worry,” Linda assured her confidently.

The impact of the news was most noticeable in the hot entertainment news. 

Linda sat in her office, listening to Wendy’s work report. 

“Ms. Felix, your answers were really bold,” Wendy said after watching the interview video. “You’re quite 

fearless.”
