Chapter 82

It was as if Ida was implying that Linda was the villain that everyone should despise and that she did all
of that because of Linda.
Ida’s article covered events from previous years, some of which Linda wasn’t even aware of.
the Inte
People on the Internet were like that.
They always attacked whichever side seemed to be suffering more.
But Linda wasn’t afraid of any of this.
When she first started working as a director, she faced far more threats.
She watched the video Ida posted and called the PR department of YK Media.
Wendy, who was in the PR department, answered the call immediately.
“Ms. Felix, how should we handle this?”
“You don’t need to do anything for now. Just save the video. As for her slander against me, hand it
directly to the lawyers for litigation.”
She didn’t have the time or energy to gather evidence herself,
She would leave it to the professionals.
“Understood.” Wendy paused. “What about the bloggers who are insulting you online?”
“All of this is legally retained evidence. Issue a lawyer’s letter to them next Monday. I won’t accept any private settlements.”
“Got it. Leave it to us, Ms. Felix. You should re’st.”
“Thank you, all. I’ve ordered some late–night snacks for the PR department. Go home and rest after you’ve eaten. The commuting expenses will be covered by us.”
Thank you, Ms. Felix!”
There were weak cheers from the office.
It wasn’t easy working in front of a computer.
“Also, notify the legal department to be on standby.”
Linda suddenly thought of something and added, “If Ida dares to target Chloe, release the other
information I gave you.”
“Understood.”
After hanging up, Linda opened her chat window with William.
Since the incident began, William had sent countless messages.
Linda found his concern boring and didn’t reply.
He seemed to be useful now.
Wouldn’t it be a waste if she didn’t make good use of her resources?
William had texted, “Linda, I can do anything for you.”
Linda replied, “Really? Mr. Wilson, anyone can say such words.”
Linda didn’t spell it out, but William understood her meaning.
Ever since he learned about the grievances Linda suffered in the Wilson residence because of Ida and Joanne, he had hated Ida deeply.
Now that Ida was openly provoking her, he wouldn’t show her any mercy.
He replied, “Linda, I will show you my sincerity.”
