Why is he still mad? It’s already been days, and I’ve told him that I didn’t do it on purpose.

The woman scratched the back of her head, feeling frustrated.

“Hey, Caspian. Do you wanna hear a joke?” she said.

“I’m reading a magazine,” he answered without hesitation.

This was the first time Caspian had rejected her.

In truth, however, he wasn’t feeling good about it either. Yet, whenever he thought of the kiss from the news, anger burned in him. To make matters worse, the man who kissed Jessica was none other than Larry.

“How long more are you going to stay mad at me? I already admitted to my mistake, so why do you still act as though I owe you eight million?”

Finally, she snapped.

“It’s only five million at most,” the man retorted.

Jessica couldn’t control herself and burst out giggling. She didn’t expect him to be so humorous.

“It’s already been a few days. Why are you still mad?” she asked as she patted his shoulder.

“Really? Was it that obvious?” Caspian asked as he stared at the woman before him.

Duh! You’re always pulling a long face. What else could you be feeling if not mad?

“Alright. Don’t be angry anymore. It was just an accident,” she insisted.

Of course, that’s what both Larry and Jessica think, but not for some people. Caspian sighed at the thought of it.

“What is it this time?” Jessica quickly asked.

“You better explain what actually happened to Joan for the sake of Larry. I’m sure both of them are still in a fight,” he told her softly.
