“Alright, stop crying. Don’t mind them anymore. I don’t believe you can’t succeed without their help. Listen to me, Jessica. The more they look down on you, the more you should prove yourself to them!” Caspian tried to cheer her up.

“You might be right. But sometimes, I really find it hard to get over this. Why does everyone have to be so snobbish in this world?”

What a naive girl. She’s not at a young age anymore, yet she has no idea how the world runs. Sometimes, even a stranger is closer than a relative. This sad truth happens to be a cruel reality in life.

On the other hand, there was one thing Jessica could not wrap her head around. It turned out when she was down, the first person that came to her mind was Caspian but not Larry.

Jessica turned her face away from Caspian and starting munching on an apple.

“What happened? Are you crying?” Larry walked in and was slightly shocked by what he saw.

Jessica immediately wiped off the tears on her chin without saying a word.

Caspian looked at Larry and shrugged.

“Did anyone upset you?” Larry asked while slowly sit down on the couch beside the woman.
