Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2270

“It’s alright. I think they will have no choice but to pay. Let me help you with this. But remember, I’m only doing this for Caspian’s sake,” Larry said.

The way of Larry’s hinting about Caspian could not be less obvious, but yet Jessica still chose to ignore this fact. She sneaked a peek at Caspian and did not say a word.

“Alright, just do as Larry said.” At that moment, Caspian also tried to persuade Jessica.

“Um… Larry. Can you really get the money back?” Jessica sought reassurance.

“Why? Don’t you believe me? It is one’s right to demand payback for a debt. Your family is not a charity organization, is it?” Larry expressed directly.

Upon hearing this, the woman seemed to gain back some confidence. Larry’s right. They should pay back what they owe. I should not feel guilty about demanding them to do so.

With that thought in mind, she decided not to argue anymore. “Alright then. Thanks in advance.”

Meanwhile, Larry’s thoughts carried away again to his situation with Joan. He had not gone back for several days, while he was unsure if Joan’s anger had subsided.

Fine… Let me go back tonight to check on her.

In the evening at Norton Residence.

“What did you say? Your mother moved out? Where did she go?” Larry was questioning in a loud voice.

“Yes, Dad. Didn’t she tell you? She moved out three days ago.” Lucius dared not look at his father.

Damn it! Why did no one tell me about this? Where’s Ms. Young?

“Where’s Grandma?” he continued to ask.

“She’s busy cultivating the garden. Dad, have you been really busy? You have not come back for dinner for a long while,” Lucius asked.

Yes, I’m busy. But that’s not the reason why I didn’t come home. It was because of Joan. Hold on a second. Is she with Dustin now? Has she eloped with him?

Rage boiled in Larry as he clenched his fists tightly.

“Lucius, tell me something. Who did Mom leave with when she moved out?” Larry squatted before Lucius.
