Chapter 3016
"Larry, if this is about Caspian, I'll have to stop you right here. It's over between us.You should go back to Joan. She'd be worried sick if you stayed out too late"
Why would Joan be worried sick? It should be Caspian! Caspian had already admitted his mistakes, and if Jessica was willing to give him another chance, Larry was sure their relationship would become even stronger than before.
"Jessica, if Larry already knows he's in the wrong, will you forgive him?"
Absolutely not! Even if he showed up begging on his knees, there's no way I'd change my mind! A glint of murderous intent flashed across her eyes.
If they weren't living in a civilized society, Jessica would have dealt with him early on.He deserves every bit of it too! For wasting my time and toying with my feelings! "Larry, I hope you'll never mention his name in front of me again.I'm tired.
I think you should leave now: The look of disdain on Jessica's face had gotten even more apparent as she tried to chase Larry home.
Of course, Larry knew her hatred for Caspian had gotten to the point of no return. But he still wasn't going to give up.
"You haven't answered my question, Jessica."
Jessica gave him a side-eye as she quietly seethed.
Isn't it obvious what my answer would be? "Fine, I'll tell you.
Even if Caspian comes running to me begging for my forgiveness, I'll never give it to him that easily!"
Jessica's response wasn't entirely unexpected because Larry knew how stubborn she could be.
Besides, there was nothing wrong with her feeling the way she did now.
If Caspian hadn't been so callous, Jessica would have been the perfect wife for him! She had the looks, the figure, and she could juggle well between her family and her career.
She was every man's dream! And yet, Caspian threw that all away.
"Jessica, can you give it some more thought?"
Why should !? You can give me a thousand and one reasons, but none will be enough for me to forgive Caspian.
"I don't have to give it any more thought, Larry! You can tell him there's no way we're ever getting back together!"
All at once, Larry was left dumbstruck.
As expected, she was as stubborn as a mule, and there was no way for him to change her mind.
Not that he could ever blame her for being angry with Caspian.
Larry smiled faintly and took his leave.
He had done all that he could, and now it was up to Caspian to clear his own mess.
