"You're still here because you won't stop worrying about me.Don't overthink things.No matter what, Larry will protect me!"

Jessica patted Larry's shoulder as she curved up her lips in a grin.

What a cheeky girl! Larry flashed a smile.

"Alright, don't you worry.As long as I'm here, no one will dare to bully Jessica.Besides, I don't think anyone dares to bully her.She's the only bullying others" he teased.

Jessica flashed an irritated glare at him for he was describing her negatively.

Joan was relieved to hear their banter.

Jessica had lost her family, and the only person she trusted was Larry.

That was why she treated Larry as her own brother even though they weren't related by blood.

Still, Larry and Joan's lives were merrier ever since Jessica joined them.

"Oh, what about you and Caspian?" Joan asked out of nowhere.

Avoiding the problem wouldn't make it go away.

Even though she decided not to see him, it didn't mean their matter would disappear into thin air.
