Never Tired of Mr. Leon's Love novel Chapter 581

Matthew wanted to slam the table and blow his top, but the well-mannered side of him reminded him that he should not lose his temper at others at the table.

He called the waiter over to order a few dishes. Ted from Sunrise Group kept smiling throughout the meal while emphasizing what an honor it was for him to be working with Leon Corporation. There was a smile on Matthew’s face throughout, but he had nothing to say.

Kent knew that Matthew was getting impatient. He had worked with Matthew for many years and understood Matthew’s character and personality very well. When Matthew smiled that way and said nothing, it meant that he was very angry.

However, Ted had no understanding of how Matthew was. Moreover, he was not observant at all. Ted kept on talking about how incredible Sunrise Group was.

He seemed to have forgotten that Leon Corporation had always been at the top of the pyramid. Matthew did not care how well Sunrise Group was developed.

When he heard Ted heaping praises on himself, Matthew could not listen any longer. All he wanted to know was why Ted had changed his mind a few days ago and later changed the terms of the contract. From the way Ted behaved, it did not look like he was a cunning person.

Could Ted be just a puppet and the real person in charge of Sunrise Group was hiding behind the scenes? This meal exhausted Matthew tremendously as he was forced to listen to Ted’s nonsense, but he continued maintaining that smile on his face.

He had to put on this act not only for his sake but most importantly, he had to maintain the dignity and respect of Leon Corporation. He could not let outsiders see him acting rudely in a meeting he was attending for the first time.

It was agonizing for Matthew. He finally got through the meal, and all he could think about was Lucy. He had been careless the last few days. Matthew was supposed to accompany Lucy to the mall but had broken his promise because of work. Matthew felt better only after Kent told him that Lucy had received the flowers he bought.
