No Strings Attached novel (Clara and Ian) novel Chapter 488

Chase pulled up to the 24-hour convenience store, his car sliding into a spot with the precision of a practiced driver. Without wasting a second, he dashed inside, returning moments later with a telltale box of condoms in hand.

Sasha, slumped in the passenger seat, was nursing a throbbing headache after a night out drinking. Despite the alcohol, her mind was a whirl of clarity. She knew exactly what was about to unfold between them. Did she really want to go through with it? There'd be no turning back after this step. As the thoughts swirled in her mind, the fire within her began to dwindle.

But the moment they pulled into the driveway of his apartment building, and before Sasha could even gather her thoughts, Chase scooped her up into his arms. Without a word, they were in the elevator, his lips crashing against hers with an urgency that couldn't be denied.

She tapped against his chest, "Chase, let go, there's a camera."

But Chase wasn't dissuaded. In fact, his kisses became more fervent. His thigh pinned her against the elevator wall, his hands controlling her wrists. His voice was thick with barely restrained desire. "Sasha, it's too late to back out now!"

With those words, his lips found hers again. Soon, the elevator doors slid open, and they were a tangle of arms and lips all the way to his apartment door.

The moment the door closed behind them, it was as if a switch had been flipped. Chase became more dominant, pressing Sasha against the wall, their clothes shedding in a heated dance. His husky, seductive voice filled her ear. "Sasha, I'm done pretending. I want to be your real boyfriend."

He sealed his vow with another kiss, and the room was instantly charged with an intoxicating atmosphere.

Pinned to the couch, Sasha was overwhelmed by Chase's relentless pursuit. Eventually, she lay there, her body limp and voice hoarse. "Chase, I need a shower."

He was still glistening with sweat, but he smiled down at her and kissed her lips gently. "Together."

That "together" turned out to be another exhaustive encounter.
