Upon hearing the news, Ian's brows immediately furrowed. He had hoped to find his grandparents’ belongings and use a DNA test to determine who Leonora was exactly.

However, the path he had just found was blocked by this news.

He pinched the bridge of his nose and asked in a deep voice, "Are you sure about this news?"

"Yes, your grandmother gave birth to a stillborn, and she was afraid that your grandfather would find out and kick her out of the house. The neighbor brought Leonora from the orphanage, a fact your grandfather never knew until his death."

Upon hearing this, Ian hummed in acknowledgment. "I'll think of another way to investigate."

Teo sighed, "If there really are two women as my wife, they must be very alike for me not to be able to tell them apart."

"This must be a long-planned conspiracy. The mastermind sent someone to your side and must have prepared thoroughly. He had the imposter imitate everything from appearance to voice and even every action, including handwriting. So, it's going to be difficult to find out which one was the girl you were in love with."

Even though he was almost certain that Katherine was the one, they needed evidence to face the law. Only with solid evidence could they convict Leonora.

After hanging up the phone, Ian called Brodie to discuss the matter. Brodie was silent for a while before finally speaking softly. "There might be one more person who knows the truth."

"Who?" Ian asked eagerly.

"May."
