No Strings Attached novel (Clara and Ian) novel Chapter 564

Clara's tears fell one by one onto the baby's body. Her body was trembling, and she cried without making a sound.

She reached out to gently caress the baby's cheek, her voice choking up. "My sweet baby, I tried so hard to protect you. Why did you still have to leave me? Was I not good enough? If there's something I didn't do right, please tell me. I beg you, please don't leave me behind."

At this point, everyone present burst into tears. This was the outcome they had all anticipated.

Clara had nearly lost her life several times for her child, yet she had bravely survived each time. Even when Heidi kidnapped her, she ignored her deep-sea phobia and fearlessly jumped into the sea to survive.

As she said, she had tried her best to protect her child, but why did she still lose him?

She lay beside the baby, her hands gently stroking his body. She longed to hold him in her arms and shower him with love. She wanted to tell him how long she had been waiting for him.

However, she never imagined that they would be separated by life and death when they finally met.

Ian held her tightly in his arms. Tears fell one by one onto Clara's body. His voice hoarse, he said, "Clara, please listen to me, okay? We can have more children in the future. Don't be too sad. The most important thing is for you to recover."

Clara looked at him through tearful eyes, her voice choking up, "Ian, why is it so hard for us? After going through so much together, we couldn't even keep our child alive. I've never done anything wrong, so why is life so unfair to me? My mom's gone, my dad's in a coma, and now my baby doesn't want me either. Who did I offend?"

She sobbed uncontrollably in Ian's arms.

She had always been kind-hearted from a young age. Even though Victoria had treated her badly, she never retaliated harshly.
