After an agonizing hour of waiting, the winged-tiger had finally returned.
On his back was a bloody and mangled skeleton.
"My Lord, he's still breathing. Please spare my life, I beg of you." The winged-tiger trembled in the air, frantic.
"Tobias!"
Belle quickly rushed over and cradled the bloody skeleton in her arms, with tears falling from her eyes.
"Darren, please save him," she said between sobs.
"Don't worry about it, Belle. You just need to protect your husband. I'll definitely find a way to save him."
Darren and Elsa didn't have god's power at the moment, so it would be difficult to cure Tobias. Darren had no choice but to save it for later.
"Okay." Belle wholeheartedly trusted Darren nonetheless, and she simply brought her husband into her small world to keep him safe.
They waited in the spot for two hours. The powerful warriors of the Danyun Clan came back one after another, and each of them brought back a group of members of the Chu Clan.
All these members of the Chu Clan were descendants that had survived over the past million years. Darren didn't recognize any of them.
"Keep doing your best to find the members of the Chu Clan. I'll return in half a month. By that time, if you still haven't found all the members of the Chu Clan, I will annihilate your entire clan."
Darren then turned to Belle. "Belle, let's go and save your husband first."
The two siblings quickly departed. But before he left, Darren used his palm to bombard the winged-tiger.
He couldn't keep the winged-tiger alive, because Darren was soon to leave the Lothlann Continent. He had to return to break through the tribulations, and that meant he was likely to die there. If there was even the slightest risk that he couldn't come back to protect his family, he had to get rid of any possible threats without a moment's hesitation.
Darren and Belle returned to the latter's home.
"Darren, what happened? Was everything going well?" Seeing that the two of them had come back, Elsa greeted them with Sunny in tow.
"Everything went well, but my brother-in-law is seriously injured and he needs treatment."
"I see. It's a relief that he's alive at least." As long as he was still breathing, he could definitely be cured. Elsa sighed in relief.
"Mom, is Dad back too?" Sunny looked at Belle with her big eyes, nearly shining with tears.
"Yes, Sunny. Your papa is back. He's going to get better very soon and give you big and sweet fruits." Belle cried with joy as she spoke to her daughter.
"Oh, that's great! Dad is finally back!"
Later, Darren, Elsa and Belle began to check the injuries of Tobias.
There was only a sliver of his soul left in the skeleton, so it was going to be difficult to heal him.
"Alas, it's a pity that we don't have our god's power right now, or we could cure him in a heartbeat.
Darren, what should we do now?" said Elsa.
"Whether we have our god's power or not doesn't matter much. With my current strength, it's easy for me to step into any relic on the Lothlann Continent. I'll spend half a day to look for some magic herbs that could bring the dead back to life."
"That's a great idea. How about you and me split up to look for the magic herbs? We can cover more ground," suggested Elsa.
"That sounds about right. It will save us a lot of time, so that Sunny can see her father sooner." No creature on the Lothlann Continent was a threat to Elsa, so Darren didn't worry about her safety.
The two of them flew into the air and searched in different directions. Even though Darren and Elsa didn't have their god's power at the moment, with their physical strength, their speed had reached the limits of the Lothlann Continent. They could check all the relics on the Lothlann Continent in only a few hours at most.
After flying for some time, Darren landed in a vast sea.
This was the Raksa Sea, a place where Darren had experienced some hardship.
"Listen, all the creatures here, find the magic herbs that can bring back the dead and give them to me, or this world is toast."
Darren's voice resonated throughout every corner of the Raksa Sea.
Countless spiritual senses replied in return, shaking.
Darren knew that if he didn't frighten the creatures in the Raksa Sea, they wouldn't care about his orders. He then flew away in a flash, headed for the residence of the strongest creature in the relic.
"I see, so it's a Fire Kylin."
