Javier’s POV
“Why, Javier?”
That echoed many times in my brain, and dejected, I continued to stare downward without looking at my wife. I’m not about to give up without a fight. I may look defeated because of my actions, but she is not leaving me. I gather my wits and remind myself of who I am.
Javier Hills was my name.
My wife will not leave me. I will not sign any divorce papers if she so desires. I gazed at my wife for the first time today because of what occurred earlier today. She had nothing to say. However, I will not allow that worthless triumph. I glanced at my wife and called to Henry,
“Come and take my wife home. I have a task ahead of me.”
I kissed her on the forehead and informed her I needed to attend to something. As I was ready to go, a thought occurred to me, and I came to a full halt.
“Babe, the day you picked me up from the club, which car did you use?”
“The black sports car,” says my wife. I gave a nod.
I walked outside and asked my friend Ethan to come with me. With Ethan, we returned to my office. While I was at my desk, I got a call from Henry.
“I’ve dropped madam off at home, boss. She is resting. “
“Gather any information on Sandra from the previous month to this date, including what she ate, who she met, and her itinerary. I need completion of all tasks within three hours.”
“I’m working on it, boss.”
“Before that, check the time it took my wife to ride my black Lykan Hypersport from my residence to the karaoke club. That was the final destination of the car. Since then, I haven’t utilized it. Verify this and get back to me.”
“All right, sir.” I can’t believe I’m here attempting to solve a mystery on my wedding day, rather than enjoying time with my bride. He snatched up his jacket and made his way home.
Gabriella was asleep when he returned home. He returned to his office and was startled by the sound of his kid sobbing outside, which he disregarded. He received an unexpected knock at his door from one of my helpers. She trembled at the door, clutching the doorknob.
“What exactly is it?”
“Sir, during your absence, Ms. Williams let herself into the premises with some men, and, as she says, she is carrying your child. The guy had already beaten the young master three times. They were four, and we were powerless...”
Javier felt as if a dagger had pierced his heart at that moment. “Who is responsible for what happened to my son?”
“Robert Williams.”
The man was as ferocious as a bulldog; he snatched up his car keys and from his study. He came to my residence to terrorize us. My wife is asleep, which is a blessing.
What the fuck is Henry still doing? This was a straightforward task, yet this gentleman failed to report back. He said that three minutes later,
He pulled out his phone to contact Henry and saw 17 missed calls with a message from the guy. He must be deep in thought since he doesn’t even hear his phone ring. He saw the text message and averted his gaze. He dialed Henry’s telephone number.
“Check Robert Williams’s location right now.”
He climbed into his vehicle. After waiting five minutes for Henry to report back, a text message arrived with an address: His own hotel. Robert had checked into the Hills hotel. Javier smirked and started his car. As he was driving up close to the red robot, Henry sent another text message.
The information you requested is now available."
“Good, we’ll meet at the same place. Bring Ethan along.”
As soon as the robot turned green, he drove with the ferocity of a man on the verge of death.
He proceeded to the VIP lounge, which was occupied by Robert Williams. The dude was a thug. The William family did not want to be affiliated with him, but to devastate his life, they summoned him to enter his home. Javier opened the private room when the man was alone with some women sitting on his two laps. He dragged the two ladies away from him. He dragged Robert to his feet and slammed him across the face. Robert’s skin in the corner of his eye broke with the first blow. He delivered another blow, shattering his nose. As his teeth came out with the last hit, he was bleeding. Robert finally let out a horrifying screech before collapsing into a puddle of blood. Robert’s men knew that the hotel was Javier’s, and so they stood and waited, unsure what to do. Javier folds his shirt sleeves. Releasing the resentment he has been harboring since Sandra turned up at the wedding today. And he still isn’t sure whether there is hope for him and his wife. Robert just happened to have triggered him at the wrong time while he was having a lot of emotions, emotions he had been bottling up for the past 6 hours.
Javier rubbed the area around his temples. He turned to face the four guys protecting Robert and said,
“Leave us!” with a frightening gaze.
