Chapter 1583

Chapter 1583 "Really?" Tail sat up straight in surprise at once and looked at Edwin in disbelief.

Edwin showed her a mysterious smile, wanting to squeeze her soft cheeks. "Of course. I won't lie to you, Tail."

Joanne was surprised, too. "Didn't the waiter say there were no more private dining rooms? How did you get one?"

She lined up for a small table for three people, and there were at least fifteen numbers before her number was called.

Edwin led them into the restaurant while answering casually, "I asked the manager. He said that there happened to be a vacant private dining room, and he gave it to us."

"So simple?" Joanne looked unbelievable.

Edwin brushed the short hair on his forehead with his index finger and uttered calmly, "Yes."

As they walked through the hall to the private room on the top floor, they came across the dozen people who were in the private dining room earlier.

The dozen people ridiculed Edwin at the beginning. But now, when they saw him, they held their breath completely and stared at Edwin and his family members enter the elevator in awe.

Under their stares, Joanne felt somewhat strange. "Why are they staring at us?"

Edwin took the opportunity to encircle her waist and breathed on her neck fondly. "Probably they’re envious of our attractive appearances and our cutest daughter in the world."

'Edwin must be talking nonsense,' Joanne thought.

"They look at you in awe!" Dissatisfied with his answer, she asked again, "Do you know them?"

Edwin raised his eyebrows. "No. I don't."

But the next second, Zain outside the elevator said in a respectful voice, "Mr. Atherton, Mrs. Atherton, good noon. Have a good lunch."

Joanne fell speechless.
