The car stopped at the gate of the hospital.
"Here we are, Miss Cindy."
Hearing no sound, the driver turned around.
Leaning against the car window, Cindy's face was as pale as a sheet. She looked lifeless.
"Miss Cindy, Miss Cindy."
The driver's several shouts finally woke Cindy up. She forced a smile and opened the door to get off the car.
Dizzy, Cindy walked forward. But she found that her steps were light and powerless, as if she was stepping on cotton.
"Miss Cindy, Mr. Ethan asked to prepare your breakfast." Then, he handed Cindy a delicate Bento.
Mr. Ethan?
Wasn't he the conceited Ethan who had fooled her around?
Cindy curled her lips.
Cindy took the breakfast from the driver and threw it into the trash can at the door.
She clapped her hands and turned to the driver with a sneer.
"Please go back and tell Mr. Ethan that I thank him for taking care of me."
Then she raised her head and walked into the hospital.
Let Ethan go to hell.
From now on, have a good life. I'll take my time.
In the study on the two floor.
With a glass of red wine in his hand, Ethan stood in front of the window, staring at the twinkling stars in the dark sky outside, frowning.
Leon stood at the door of the study, looking more anxious than Ethan.
"Mr. Ethan, it's time to go downstairs. The Old Mrs. Huo is anxious."
There was no response.
Hiding was not a solution.
Ethan raised his head and drank up the wine in his glass.
He put the glass heavily on the table, picked up the coat on the back of the chair and put it on. Then he walked out of the room.
As soon as Ethan walked out of the study, he heard a noise downstairs.
He went down the stairs.
The hall of the Huo family downstairs was now full of guests, with their clothes and temples fragrant. The celebrities in business and political circles in J City were gathered, and there were even several famous entertainment stars. Men and women were all dressed up and greeted each other with business cards.
The appearance of Ethan immediately attracted everyone's attention.
Sitting in the middle of the hall, Old Mrs. Huo saw Ethan coming down the stairs and waved at him.
"Ethan, come here."
"I'm sorry, everyone. I was delayed by something just now."
Ethan nodded slightly and walked slowly towards Old Mrs. Huo.
"Ethan." Hardly had her voice faded away when a figure walked up to Ethan and held his hand.
Her long curly hair, fair and smooth skin, her beautiful eyes and sexy lips were painted with a layer of bright red spring. She wore a long champagne colored dress, which accentuated her curvaceous figure. Her slender waist was well shaped.
Her hot and eye-catching figure was enough to make all the men present burst out blood. Her delicate make-up and delicate features made her look pure and gentle. A diamond encrusted ribbon on her curly hair set off her elegant and demure temperament.
Old Mr. Mu said. Then he turned to Old Mrs. Huo and said with a smile, "Old Mrs. Huo, don't blame her. It's all my fault. Over the years, Joana has been used to living abroad alone and spoiled by her mother."
"Not at all. I like Joana being like this in front of me. It was normal for a girl to act like a spoiled child. Besides, it's really hard to go to school alone for so many years."
Old Mrs. Huo said with a smile.
Seeing that someone was backing her up, Joana looked up at Old Mr. Mu with more imposing manner.
"That's right, Dad. You are always teaching me. Grandma loves me. Grandma is the best."
Then she bent down, put her arms around Old Mrs. Huo's neck and shook her a few times.
Old Mrs. Huo was even happier. She patted the back of Joana's hand and smiled. "Well, Joana, my bones are almost broken by you."
"Hahaha!"
The guests standing next to Old Mrs. Huo also burst into laughter.
"Ethan, Joana just came back. No one knows her. Take her to say hello to everyone."
Old Mrs. Huo's order made Joana more than happy.
When she grew up with Ethan, Joana had already known that the two families had arranged a marriage for her and Ethan. They would get married on a date when they grew up.
Although the marriage was not mentioned clearly, all the people who came here today were the upper class of J City. What Old Mrs. Huo did was clearly to announce the relationship between her and Ethan to the whole J City.
"Grandma."
Ethan still looked cold and frowned.
"Let's go, Brother Ethan. Grandma said we should listen to her." Joana stepped forward and held Ethan's arm.
She didn't want to miss today's opportunity.
