Out Of Nowhere: Boss, Let Me Go novel Chapter 8

The ambulance shuttled back and forth at the gate of No.2 People's Hospital of J City. The air was full of tension, which made Cindy full of worry.

"Driver, no change."

Cindy opened the car door, took out the money from her bag, handed it to the driver, turned around and trotted all the way.

Worried about Jason, Cindy walked in a hurry and only felt a sprain in her ankle. Cindy cried out in pain. "Ah..."

She turned around.

Her shoes were stuck in the gap of the road, and Cindy tried her best to pull them out, but failed.

On their wedding night, Ethan suddenly appeared. Her sister had her husband's child, and Jason was still lying in the hospital. The situation was unknown.

What the hell was this big day? Didn't Mrs. Amanda say that it would be a lucky day for her to get married?

Now even her shoes would oppose her.

Her silver high-heeled shoes were covered with water diamonds, shining in the light.

These were the wedding shoes she and Horald had chosen together.

She lowered her head in frustration, her fingertips cold, and the mist instantly filled her eyes.

Cindy took off the other shoe, threw it into the trash can and walked into the hospital barefoot.

Her feet were cold on the ground, but not as cold as Cindy's heart.

Both she and Horald worked in this hospital. Yesterday, they happily sent wedding candies to everyone. It was only one day, but everything had changed.

With tears in her eyes, Cindy could not help but grin in pain every step she took.

"Isn't that Cindy? How dare she come back after such a thing?"

"It's not a big deal. She was with Mr. Qin on their wedding night yesterday. That kind of woman is a bitch who clings to the power. It's not a big deal."

"Look at her. You have to learn her skills. Maybe you can find a rich husband in the future."

"Let's go! Let's go! Mind your own business!"

Several nurses passed by her and gossiped in Cindy's ears.

These people were not in the same department with her, and Cindy didn't know them.

It seemed that the fact that she was sold to Claude Qin had made her a "celebrity" in the hospital.

Having no time to think about it, Cindy went straight to the stairs. Jason's illness was what she was most concerned about now.

In the corner of the six floor of the inpatient building was Jason's room.

The Cheng family's livelihood was a problem after it went broke. Without the help of her father's friends, Jason wouldn't have a ward in No.2 People's Hospital of J City. Although there were three rooms and the supporting facilities were not complete, Cindy was satisfied. When the Cheng family couldn't afford the medical fees, Cindy went to the hospital's financial department and said that she could still be in arrears for a few days, which was the most important reason.

Nowadays, the Cheng family lived on Cindy's salary alone, which was barely enough. In the past two years, with the help of Horald, Jason was able to continue his treatment.

Horald Tao.

His name was piercing through her throat, and she could not bear it.

Taking a deep breath, Cindy pushed the door open and shouted, "Jason."

"Sister." leaning against the sickbed, Jason watched TV and ate the apple happily.

Having been sick for a long time, he had already been used to the life in the hospital.

"Cindy, here you are. Where have you been today? I couldn't get through you. I was so worried."
