Two days had passed and though Anne had fully recovered, she was not allowed to leave.

Anthony seemed to prefer keeping her in the mansion and did not even go to the Archduke that often. He would be close to her twenty hours a day and even when he needed to work, he would settle it in the study room.

At the moment, he had Anne on his lap while he attended a virtual meeting. The meeting room in the Archduke Group was shown on the laptop screen, but the

others could not see Anthony, or it would be extremely inappropriate for Anne to sit on his lap.

Anne kept herself from making any noises and listened to the managers speak.

Anthony held a fork and fed her a piece of fruit.

She accepted it and chewed carefully, not wanting the others to hear her. Though they could not see anything on Anthony’s end, they could hear any sound emitted as Anthony would speak to them from time to time.

The juice of the piece of fruit she bit down on squirted onto the laptop screen and she frantically wiped the screen clean, feeling uncomfortable when she sensed Anthony’s lustful stare on her.

Anthony’s blood boiled as Anne struggled to get up. As soon as she got off his lap, he pulled her backward by the waist and tilted her chin back to devour her lips.

Instantly, the room was filled with a suggestive atmosphere.

Anne pointed at the laptop screen to remind Anthony that he was still in a meeting with his employees. However, Anthony ignored her and continued to deepen the kiss.

Terrified, Anne dared not to refuse and could simply try her best to remain quiet.

Anthony shoved his fingers into her mouth and whispered hoarsely, “Bite down on them.”
