President's Genius Son novel Chapter 8

“Hedy Walker, the design drawing is ready, right?” Kelly Hill said in a tone full of provocation.

“You’ll have it in three days.” Hey looked at the night outside and had begun to calm down.

It seemed that she would have to roll with the punches.

“Three days? I can’t wait that long. I want you to go to the store and wait for me tomorrow morning. And if I get there and don’t see you, I’m going to file a complaint! By the way, I’ll tell everyone in X city that BL Boutique is unable to serve her customers well! Just be prepared to be kicked out of the company!”

Kelly let out a smug laugh and hung up the phone.

Hedy held the phone and took a deep breath to calm herself down, “Hey, it’s not a big deal. There are disgusting people all over the world. Come on!”

But what Hedy didn't know was that behind her, her son, Leo Walker, was eavesdropping at the door.

Kelly’s arrogant voice could be heard without a speaker, which made Leo so heartbroken that his tears fell.

How could he let others bully his mom like this?

After he got himself a new daddy, he must let his new daddy protect her well.

When Hedy got out of the study, she found Leo had finished eating noodles, even dishes were cleaned up. At that moment, Leo was lying on the table, drawing very seriously.

Probably Leo got a talent for this, he loved drawing. Also, when Hedy was abroad drawing designs day and night, Leo was influenced by that. So he had already been able to design a lot of eye-catching clothes at such a young age.

It’s just that Leo was still too young, and Hedy didn’t want his innocence to be tainted by the business. So she hadn't shown his talent to the public. However, some of her designs were somehow inspired by her son.

When Hedy thought of this, she felt very proud.

Even though she was framed by someone, which almost ruined her career, she still raised such an excellent son on her own.

“Leo, it’s almost ten-thirty, you need to go to bed now!”

Hedy closed her laptop and looked at Leo who was still concentrating on his drawing.

“Alright, mom. Two more minutes.”

Leo kept his word, and two minutes later, he did draw a set of diagrams, but refused to show them to his mother. He folded them carefully and then put them in his pocket like treasures.

“What is it? Can you show them to mom?” Hedy kissed Leo’s hair as she said.

“Not now.” Leo hugged his mother's neck and rubbed his eyes, “Mom, I'm sleepy.”

The next morning, as Hedy was thinking about where to send her son, Jeffrey was already waiting outside the apartment with small toys.

“Designer Leo, I heard that you’re going to the company to communicate with Mrs. Thomas today about the design, so why don't you just leave Leo to me?”
