Dylan looked over at Scott and Naomi and smiled as if he recounted the legend of the dish just for them.
Scott His fingers moved a little on his cup. He looked at Dylan, wondering what Dylan was going to say.
Naomi, on the other hand, did not think much about the dish's legend. Sure, Dylan's stories were meaningful, but it was also his job to share such information. Nonetheless, she listened to the stories intently so she could remember them.
Dylan looked at Scott and smiled even wider. He turned to look at Naomi and said, "Legend has it that if couples eat this dish, and if they're a good pair, they'll spend the rest of their lives together. If they're not fated together, however, they'll part."
Naomi was stunned. Was there really such a thing?
"That's why this dish has become sort of a compatibility test for couples. Many couples come here to eat this dish."
Dylan smiled at everyone.
Everyone chuckled.
"This is something you young people should do. We older people won't get involved!"
"Yes, you youngsters can do this! It has nothing to do with us."
Most of them were older. Only Scott, Naomi, Dylan, Chandler's secretary, and two other staff were the younger ones. Moreover, only Naomi and Scott were a couple.
Hearing what everyone was saying, Dylan smiled at Scott and added, "The legend has it that if a husband and wife eat this dish, and if they're a good pair, their relationship will improve, and they'll only part in death. Otherwise, they'll split up and become strangers."
Chandler furrowed his brow at Dylan, knowing that Dylan was messing around again.
He knew that Dylan and Scott had been great friends for many years. Although Dylan was naughty, he could read the room, which was why Chandler said nothing.
