Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master novel Chapter 599

"He is the prince of the Timber Deity Empire! If he was killed, there would be dire consequences. It would be difficult to avoid war between the two countries. You did it because you had no choice. Now that the reinforcements have come, we don't have to kill him," Allen responded calmly.

Rocky didn't respond. Instead, he put away the Frozen Wind Dagger and summoned Uriah. He immediately mounted Uriah and galloped away in a huff, feeling the stares of the crowd as he left.

As Rocky left, Allen suddenly noticed that Sabina was standing nearby. At a loss for words, he stared at her in shock.

Noticing Allen's gaze, Sabina abruptly looked away unfeelingly and started in Rocky's direction.

"Sabina..." Allen tried to reach out to her.

However, Sabina didn't stop. Setting her eyes on Rocky's diminishing figure in the distance, she vanished in the blink of an eye.

"Sabina!" Allen immediately followed suit, vanishing into thin air.

After the three had abruptly left, a silence fell over the site. The commanders and a few Evian City troops stood wordlessly, not knowing what to do.

Sabina, who had left the training ground to chase after Rocky, was suddenly stopped by a shadow that suddenly appeared in front of her.

"Don't you recognize me? I'm your uncle!" Allen exclaimed.

It turned out that, the head of the Elite Regiment was the younger brother of the master of the Ji Clan— Sabina's father.

"I am not a member of the Ji Clan anymore," Sabina responded coldly.

"Why do you say that? Your father has already..." Before Allen could finish, Sabina snorted incredulously. "'Father'? What father? I don't have a father."

"Sabina." Allen's eyes were suddenly stern. He raised his hand in anger, about to strike the haughty girl, but immediately stopped when he noticed the look in her eyes.

"If you promise you won't mention him, I will still call you 'uncle'," Sabina said with cold eyes.

This seemed to appease him somewhat. "After all these years, how have you been? I heard that you have already become an apprentice of General Marcia, and have even reached the Supernal Stage!" Allen smiled slightly. He cared deeply about his niece.

Sabina didn't answer him. Silently, she nodded.

"The Commander in Chief told me that you joined the Crimson Dragon Group. At first, I thought he was lying. I didn't expect that you..." he trailed off. "But aren't you supposed to be with the Rime Group? Why did you join the Crimson Dragon Group? The Commander in Chief mentioned it having something to do with that guy..." Allen shook his head in confusion.

"You are asking too many questions." Sabina couldn't hide her impatience.

"Okay, okay, I won't ask any more," Allen promised with a wave of his hand.

"Are you here to answer the call of the Commander in Chief?" Sabina asked after a moment of silence.

"Yes," he answered. "Three days ago, when I was still in the Roaring Flame Empire, I suddenly received an urgent summon from him. He said Evian City was in danger, and asked me to come to his aid. So I came immediately," he explained as a matter of fact.

"Fortunately, you arrived in time. I'd hate to imagine what would've happened if you didn't..." Sabina trailed off ominously.

"Actually, I thought I was too late as I entered the city," Allen recalled. "But I didn't expect you could still fight until now!" He couldn't help but show a little surprise.

"Thanks to that guy," Sabina muttered under her breath, a faint smile playing on her delicate lips.

It was the first time for Allen to see such a smile on Sabina's face.

"Is 'that guy' Rocky? He indeed seems to be a little special. Also, his aura is quite strange." Allen recalled the peculiar feeling he sensed when he blocked Rocky's sword.
