Chapter 32 Joshua Is Against Anaya

Joshua opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

After a long time, he finally reminded, “Hearst isn‘t a nobody. You‘d better stay away from him.”

He had asked Alex to check Hearst but found nothing

Hearst‘s identity was deliberately concealed.

A person that Joshua could not find out was definitely not simple.

Joshua did not know why Hearst got close to Anaya, but his intuition told him that Hearst was definitely up to no good.

Anaya thought that Joshua viewed every one of Paradise Nightclub dirty, so she said coldly, “I know who he is. You don‘t need to care. Please don‘t touch me in the future. Otherwise, don‘t blame me for suing you for sexual harassment!”

With that, she bypassed him and entered the apartment.

After she couldn‘t see Joshua, Anaya sat on the ground at the entrance and curled up.

When she was caught by Joshua, Anaya was really frightened.

She thought of the terrible dream last night again.

In front of Joshua, she didn‘t even have the strength to struggle.

if he were to rape her, she wouldn‘t have any ability to resist at all.

A clear bark of a dog came from the living room.

Sammo dashed over to Anaya, circling her happily.

Looking at the dog in front of her, Anaya couldn‘t help but laugh.

She picked up Sammo and smoothed its soft and white fur. “I should have opened the door and let you out to bite that bastard.”

The dog tilted its head.

“Let‘s go, I will prepare breakfast for you.”

When she was done with the job, she had to increase her training in the combat course.

Ii Joshua dared to touch her again, Anaya would teach him a lesson!

Joshua left Anaya‘s apartment and returned to the car.

His phone screen was lit. He took a look and saw a missed call from Lexie.

He called her back

Lexie‘s soft voice came from the phone. “Are you busy?”

Joshua was annoyed and said perfunctorily, “Yes, I was doing something else and didn‘t receive your call, What‘s wrong?”

“The wound on my stomach has been hurting these days, and I don‘t have inuch appetite. I want to eat the doughnuts at the entrance of the high school. Can you ask Alex to buy some for me?”

Hearins her words, Joshua realized that it had been a few days since he had visited Lexie.

During this time, he had been paying attention to Anaya‘s matters.

Joshua felt guilty and said in a gentle voice, “That‘s not clean. I‘ll let the private chef make them for you.”

“Alright...” Lexie sounded a bit disappointed.

Joshua paused and said, “I‘ll send it to you personally later.”

Lexie‘s voice became excited. “Alright!”

Hanging up the phone, Joshua stared at the phone in a daze.

Lexie was obedient, unlike Anaya, who would go against him every time they met.

Realizing that he was thinking of Anaya again, Joshua was upset.

What was wrong with him? Why was he always thinking of the woman who had divorced him?

Knowing that she was with another man, Joshua searched for her all night last night,

He shouldn‘t have done that.

The person he loved was Lexie instead of Anaya, a fickle woman!

He deepened this thought over and over again as if as long as he relaxed for a moment, the other thoughts would pop up.

When he arrived at the hospital, Joshua put the doughnuts on the table and asked casually, “How are your injuries?”

“The lines were removed yesterday. The doctor said that if I recover well, I should be discharged in a few days. Joshua, I heard that you‘ve been targeting the Dutt family recently. Is it because of me?” Lexie asked as she sat up.

Joshua was stunned for a moment when he heard that, and then he nodded.

To be honest, he had forgotten about Lexie for the past few days.

He suppressed the Dutt family because he wanted to punish Anaya for forcing him to divorce and get close to other men.

“Joshua, I don‘t blame Anaya. She didn‘t mean to hurt me. You don‘t have to make things difficult for her.”

“She should be punished for hurting you. I won‘t let you suffer for nothing.” Joshua said as he sat down beside the bed.

“Joshua...”

Joshua looked sullen. He interrupted hier, “Let‘s not talk about this. Take the doughnuts. I still have work to do later.”
