Chapter 81 Anaya Has an Abortion
Yamilet felt that it was a little strange.
The man kept staring at Anaya’s back. He looked like a cold man. But when he looked at Anava
there was love in his eyes.
Was Yamilet mistaken?
Yamilet was curious. But Yamilet was not familiar with Anaya and did not ask Anaya about it.
Anaya and Yamilet went up to the ninth floor, and the medical staff was already waiting at the
door.
Anaya asked Yamilet, “Are you sure you want to do it?”
Yamilet had made up her mind when she saw the pregnancy test results. “This baby is a mistake.
It’s the best choice for both of us.”
Yamilet said decisively. But Anaya could not understand the sorrow in Yamilet’s eyes.
“Go inside. I’ll wait for you outside.”
Before entering the operating room, Yamilet said, “Ms. Dutt, I owe you a big one. I’ll do whatever I
can if you ever need my help. Please keep it a secret.”
It was not a big deal to keep it a secret. Anaya nodded..
Not long after Yarilet entered, Hearst returned with two servings of food.
He bought some chips and hamburgers on the street opposite the hospital.
Anaya asked, “Do you want to eat here?”
“Why not?
“I just feel that eating snacks in the hospital corridor is a bit…”
“A bit what?
it’s a bit strange.” Anaya finally found the word, “You look like the type of guy who only eats in
fancy restaurants.”
“Is that what you think of me?” He was amused by her and his thin lips curved into a smile. “I once
ate rotten apples at the garbage dump”
He made light of it. Anaya couldn’t tell if it was a joke or not
Anaya felt like he was probably joking.
He didn’t look like a guy from the slums.
Yamilet was pregnant for two months, and it was just an embryo. The operation ended in less than
half an hour.
After the operation, Yamilet stayed there for observation for another half an hour. Everything was good, and the doctor directly asked Yamilet to leave.
Yamilet took off her mask. Her face was pale, and she looked very tired.
Anaya helped Yamilet out. Hearst wanted to follow her, but he was stopped by the doctor.
“Are you the father of the baby?”
Hearst wanted to say no, but the doctor continued before Hearst could deny it, “Your girlfriend’s operation is very successful. But you have to know that abortion is harmful to a woman’s body. Too many abortions will make her infertile.
“If you don’t plan to have a baby, use condoms or pills.”
Hearst was in a hurry to catch up with Anaya, so he did not explain. Hearst said, “OK.” Then he left.
After he left, Bria walked out of the corner of the corridor.
Bria recognized Hearst.
He was the man who was once on a trending topic with Anaya.
Bria believed that she had just heard something about abortion.
The doctor was about to return to his office when Bria stopped her and asked, “Excuse me, did a woman named Anaya come here for an abortion tonight? I am her friend. She asked me to come and pick her up, but I couldn’t find the operating room.”
“Anaya? She just left.” The doctor pointed in the direction of the elevator. “Her boyfriend just got on the elevator. Hurry up. Maybe you can catch up with him.”
Bria didn’t even thank the doctor and left directly.
When Bria went downstairs, her mother Emily Aucher came back with coffee. They met.
Seeing Bria, Emily asked with concern, “What did the doctor say? Why didn’t you get your period this month?
“It’s an endocrine disorder. The doctor prescribed some medicine. I’ll take it for a while to see the
effect.” Then Bria asked, “Mom, you have a friend who works in this hospital, right? Can you ask your friend to show me something?”
Anaya watched Yamilet get in a taxi. Anaya was about to send a message to Hearst to ask where he was when his car stopped in front of her.
“Thank you for coming with me,” Anaya said as she opened the car door.
*All right, I’ll treat you next time.”
Anaya looked at the long street ahead. They passed the street lights one after another. So the light inside the car was also litful.
Anaya suddenly asked, “Did you give me the evidence that my Uncle Frank went to the pharmacy to buy the medicine?
