Reborn, Reawakened, Rekindled novel Chapter 307

Next scene, Faith was loudly reprimanding Bonnie, who was crying uncontrollably.

Finally, Faith couldn't stand her crying anymore, raised her hand again, but this time Neil blocked it. The hand print on his face was left by Faith.

Watching this video, I felt a bit better. After all, Faith slapped Bonnie for me, indirectly letting off some steam.

"Alright, thanks." I handed the phone back to Hannah and softly thanked her.

"Ms. Finch, what's the deal between Bonnie and Mr. Whitmore?" Hannah hesitated for a moment before bravely asking me this question.

I grabbed a bottle of red wine, got two glasses of it, handed one to Hannah, and we chatted while drinking.

What's the deal between Neil and Bonnie? I'm somewhat puzzled myself. During my past life, I could say they were truly in love. In this life, I can't describe it at all.

However, I still briefly told Hannah about the recent events, considering Oscar should have told her about the past.

Hannah's face grew more and more distressed until I finished speaking. She then gathered her courage and said, "She's so lucky. Mr. Whitmore actually likes her, and so does Gloria, even treating her as a daughter. It's so unfair."

I don't think she's jealous of Bonnie, but rather thinking about her brother's unfortunate fate.

After all, Oscar and Bonnie were once lovers. Initially, they started at a similar point, but now Oscar is dead, and Bonnie's life is getting better and better.

"By the way, Hannah," I suddenly remembered something, "you mentioned before that you opposed your brother dating Bonnie. Why? Can you tell me now?"

Hannah stared at the red wine in her glass for a long time before sighing, "Ms. Finch, the Bonnie from before wasn't as innocent as everyone thought. I discovered it by accident, so I started opposing them."

"Can you elaborate?" I asked again.

Hannah hesitated for a moment, but eventually told me why she didn't like Bonnie.

It turned out that the first time Oscar brought Bonnie home, all of the Morse family loved Bonnie. She was docile and innocent, very likable.

But when Oscar wasn't home, Hannah accidentally saw Bonnie making a phone call. It sounded like she was breaking up with another boy, and her tone was very harsh.

"That boy must have been Bonnie's ex-boyfriend, from high school. They were always entangled. But Oscar told me he was Bonnie's first boyfriend." Hannah was somewhat angry, "She had been lying to him!"

"So you started disliking her since then?" I didn't expect that Bonnie had such a past, and it was discovered by Hannah.

"I think people like her are scary. They seem harmless, but they're actually very scheming. I warned Oscar at the time, but he only cared about Bonnie, so I could only watch helplessly." Hannah finished her glass of wine after saying this.

I didn't deny Hannah's words, but instead it reinforced my decision not to tell her about the doubts surrounding Oscar's death. She's already having a hard time, she doesn't need any more pain.

"Can't Mr. Whitmore see clearly? Why does he like Bonnie? And I thought he want to get back together with you? Why is he still involved with Bonnie?" Hannah's tone was full of confusion.

I smiled and said, "I don't know, maybe he's got some issues."
