Chapter 1065 Divorcing Only After Pregnancy

Gilbert’s slender fingers inadvertently tapped on the photo gallery icon. The first photo that popped up was a photo of that woman.

It was a photo he secretly took.

There was a candid and pure smile on her face. Gilbert did not know what she had encountered to beam that brightly.

He stared fondly at the photo.

He continued staring and was suddenly reminded of the contract.

Sometime later, Kohen’s butler walked up to Gilbert. “Mr. Kooper, our second young master said you had some drinks, so you should rest here tonight. He needs to discuss the particulars of some work-related things with you tomorrow.”

“Alright,” Gilbert nodded and sat up straight. He realized almost all the guests in the courtyard had left.

He asked the butler, “Is your second young master coming back downstairs?” “Probably not. The second young master and mistress have retired for the night.” – The corner of Gilbert’s lips twitched, “This early? Couldn’t he hold back a little longer?” The butler understood what Gilbert meant. He smiled awkwardly and said, “The second young master is eager for a child, so the two have been retiring rather early these days.”

Gilbert smirked playfully. “I couldn’t tell he liked children.”

“No. Our second young master wants to divorce the second young mistress. However, they can only divorce if she bears the McCray family’s child. However, it’s been a while, and there’s still no signs of pregnancy…”
