Gilbert narrowed his eyes toward the end of the sentence.

Even though he did not finish the sentence, Kisa could clearly feel the threat in his words. She was left speechless.

Madalyn stood in the courtyard, watching as Kisa disappeared through the entrance, and then she snorted, "If she wasn't carrying the Kooper family's offspring, I wouldn't have cared about her. She's really pissing me off."

George smiled and asked, "Would you like me to send a bodyguard to follow Mrs. Kooper?"

"Never mind, you'd better not. She might get offended and snitch on me to Gilbert," Madalyn said. "I won't put up with her anymore after the baby is born."

Because of time constraints, Kisa hailed a cab on the side of the road after leaving the Kooper residence. She first asked the cab driver to drive her to the nearest park. When she arrived, she walked a short distance in the park and then took a few photos and some selfies with the park as the background. Following that, she left the park and got into the cab again.

"To the airport, please," she told the cab driver and checked the time. There were still two hours left before boarding time, so she had plenty of time.

In the CEO office of GK Pictures, Gilbert pushed away the contract in front of him with irritation. He had been so unsettled today that he could not get anything done.
