Reborn Through Fire (Kisa and Gilbert) novel Chapter 1330

Chapter 1330 He Was So Protective of Her

Kisa sounded exceptionally worried and fearful.

Gilbert kept on stroking her back, trying to calm her.

Her back was very sweaty and her shirt was sticking onto her back. She felt extremely uncomfortable.

Gilbert then put his hand into her shirt to separate the wet shirt and her skin.

He used his warm, big hand to caress her cold and tensed back.

He said in a low voice, “Don’t be scared. I’m here It’s okay.”

As soon as he had entered the room earlier, he had noticed Kisa struggling on the bed.

Her forehead was full of sweat as she frowned and groaned in pain. She was clearly having a nightmare.

His heart sank a little.

‘This is Felicity’s place. If she was having nightmares because of the Mullen residence, then why is

she having a nightmare here? What’s the real issue here?’

The terror gradually lifted from her heart after she took some time to calm down, but she did not dare to go back to sleep. The nightmare had left her feeling terrified and suffocated. She was afraid that if she fell back asleep, she would just have that scary bad dream again.

Gilbert told her to take a warm bath to avoid catching a cold.

Kisa nodded and obediently went to take a bath.

When she came out of the bathroom, Gilbert was leaning against the bedhead, using his phone. It seemed like he was searching for something.

She then climbed into bed. She glanced at his phone screen as she confusedly said, “You still suspect that I ate that kind of psychotropic substance?”

Gilbert nodded, “Just like what Kelvin said, you’re not showing any other symptoms. You don’t look like you have a mental illness. I looked at the information regarding the psychotropic substance just now. That drug indeed causes people to constantly have nightmares not long after using it. It causes mental weakness too. In severe cases, it can cause hallucinations and insanity, but it is also said that if you don’t use it for a long time or stop using it entirely, the symptoms will be relieved.
