Chapter 171 Just Kill Me
"Deal?" Avery looked at him in confusion.
She had nothing now. What could she use to make a deal with him?
The cramped and narrow space with stagnant air made her feel suffocated like a fish out of water, and a layer of sweat formed on her back.
He leaned slightly forward, and a drop of water fell from the end of his hair onto her face, bringing a moment of coolness.
Jacob's expression turned serious. "Stay by my side, and I will settle the grievances between me and the Adams family."
Avery pondered over the words "stay by my side" repeatedly. Her clear gaze met his dark eyes, and she calmly asked, "What kind of identity should I stay with?"
Jacob paused before speaking, "Besides being Mrs. Hill, I can give you anything."
Avery asked word by word, "So do you want me to be your mistress?"
These words displeased Jacob, and he rubbed the place between his eyebrows, trying to explain, "Except for the lack of status, we can be like before."
"Before..." She chuckled, knowing that she should show weakness and behave well to negotiate better with him, but the condition Jacob proposed infuriated her and gave her a headache.
It felt like a huge gas-filled balloon about to explode on the spot.
Avery's hand, propped against the wardrobe, found something. She smiled and approached him. "Can you really give me anything?"
It had been a long time since he had seen her bright smile. It was only then that Jacob realized that, rather than hating her, he longed to see her smile.
"F*ck you! Jacob, you've caused the destruction and bankruptcy of my family, and the coma of my father. Where do you get the audacity to say such absurd things? Today, I must kill you!"
Jacob was furious, and he lifted Avery out of the wardrobe with one hand. Avery took the opportunity to punch and kick him.
"Do you want me to be your mistress? You're ugly and delusional. You're the most hateful jerk I've met in my life. Are there no other men in the world? Do I have to be with you?"
Avery's face turned red with anger as she cursed, "Instead of being a mistress, I'd rather be your mother. I should have stuffed you back into the amniotic fluid when you were born."
Jacob's face also turned red from her words. Anger surged in his black pupils, and he raised his hand to strike.
Filled with anger, Avery straightened her neck, wearing a defiant expression on her face. She exclaimed, "Go ahead! It would be better if you just killed me!"
