Azrael's POV

Seeing Alexandria's big smile made my heart flutter and stomach churn, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. I am so happy for her, this is the first time that I have seen her so happy.

How I wished my parents were alive too, but I know better. I hope they are watching me from heaven, guiding me throughout my journey together with Alexandria.

I know I am selfish to my whole pack but I just couldn't let my mate go. I'm willing to sacrifice everything for Alexandria even if it costs the trust of my whole pack. Of course, I have to ask for forgiveness from the whole pack. I hope they understand me. It felt like years since we were traveling and leaving everything behind. I haven't even heard from Matthew. I am getting anxious too because I couldn't mindlink him. I guess it's because of the distance we have.

"Sabrina, are you okay?" I heard Layla ask in a low tone. I looked at Sabrina and it seems like she's in deep thought. She's startled by the mention of her name.

"Ah---yeah, I'm okay…" she murmured and I saw her taking glances at the Queen. Since we met the Queen, she's been staring at the Queen as a wave of nostalgia hit her. I know the Queen noticed but she just gave Sabrina a knowing smile. I feel like the Queen knows something the way she also stares at Sabrina.

All of us were silently eating while Alex was busy with her food. Sometimes, I put food on her plate and she ate all of it. I wonder where she put all the food. It's like she didn't eat for days and starved herself. Well, we haven't had decent food for a while and I think Alex is very hungry, especially because she had four spirits within her.

It's very entertaining watching Alex eat all the food she laid eyes on. She didn't even care we were watching her.

The King and Queen have this huge smile on their faces while looking at Alex. They were amused by the sight. I don't know what they've discussed a while ago because it took them awhile for their private talk. Based on Alex's face, I know something good had happened.

After eating, the King and Queen introduce Alex to everyone at the table that she is their daughter. Everyone's faces lit up like they were anticipating Alex's arrival and they were giving Alex compliments.

The young boy stood up and ran towards Alex with a wide beaming smile.

"Are you my big sister?" the young boy asked which made Alex smile sweetly and nodded. The young boy squealed and hugged Alex which made her giggled.

Afterward, everybody at the table asked about Alex's eye colors and powers. They were very interested in Alex, being a five genes hybrid. They were even surprised to know that Alex had four spirits within her.

"Tomorrow we will introduce our daughter to everyone. Mauro, gather everyone at exactly 10 in the morning." the King said and the tall werewolf man nodded and said, "Yes, Your Majesty."

After some words from the King, the others strutted out the dining area, leaving us.

Alex looked at me then smiled in which I returned with the warmest smile I could muster. She held my hand and smiled widely then looked at the King and Queen.

"Mama, Papa, I would like to introduce you to my mate," Alex uttered and my throat went dry. Alex's sensed my awkwardness and pressed my hand. The King and Queen divert their attention onto me.

I quickly stood up and bowed my head as a sign of respect, I cleared my throat and spoke, "Your Highness, Your Majesty, I am Azrael Shepherd, the Alpha of Shepherd Pack and I am Alexandria's mate." after I said that I heard them gasp in surprise.

They eyed me intently which makes me anxious. My heart beats at a quicker rate because of anticipation.

"Tell me, are you the son of Laura and Diego?" the King said and I creased my forehead. Did they know my parents?

"Yes, that's my parents. You know them?" I was still confused.

They nodded their heads yes. "Laura and Diego are our friends. I'm sorry for your loss." I frowned and images of my parents lying on the ground lifeless flash in my head.

Alex pulled me back to sit down and stare at my eyes. Staring at her eyes made me relaxed and the images suddenly vanished.

Someone cleared their throat and it was Sabrina. We all looked at her. But her eyes were fixated on the Queen. "Why do you look like my mother?" Sabrina blurted out confused.

The Queen stared intently at Sabrina and gasped. "E-Elisha? Is that you?"

Huh? She called Sabrina, Elisha?

On the other hand, Sabrina was shocked, causing her to stand up while looking at the Queen. "H-How do you know my name?!" she staggered. I'm so confused now.

The Queen stood up and walked towards Sabrina teary-eyed. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry." she paused while scanning Sabrina from head to toe, "Last time I saw you, you were just 8 years old. Don't you remember me?" the Queen said and Sabrina froze while staring intently at the Queen in front of her.

The room filled with silence while we were all staring at Sabrina who seemed lost in her thoughts, reminiscing about her past.

Until I saw Sabrina's tear-streaked down on her face. "Do you remember me now, my niece?" the Queen asked, which made us all gasp in shock.

Sabrina is the Queen's niece? Does that mean Sabrina and Alex are cousins? Wow.

Sabrina sobbed while nodding repeatedly. "Auntie…"

The Queen nodded and engulfed Sabrina in a tight hug. "It took you long enough to find me. I'm sure, Esmeralda, told you to come here." the Queen uttered after the hug. Sabrina wiped off her tears while smiling.

"She did but I was so overwhelmed being the Queen of all witches that I forgot their wishes. If not for Alex, I wouldn't have remembered mom and dad telling me that if I wanted answer to go to Tibbertan Mountain and I wouldn't also be here." the Queen giggled while caressing Sabrina's hair.

"I'm glad you and Alex came here together." the Queen uttered.

Sabrina smiled, "I missed my mom so much. She looks like you…"

Sabrina said while tears were streaming down her face. The Queen just smiled and wiped Sabrina's tears on her cheeks.

"Then, Sabrina is my cousin?" Alex blurted out which made the Queen and Sabrina look at her.

"Sabrina?" the Queen asked with furrowed eyebrows.

Alex nodded, "Yes, that's what her name is in the human world. She doesn't want us calling her real name in public." Alex explained and Sabrina nodded in agreement.

"Oh okay. And yes, she is your cousin." The Queen uttered while smiling widely. Alex and Sabrina smiled at each other knowingly.

"Now I know why I feel like we're connected because we are," Sabrina uttered while smiling.

Alex also introduced Layla to the King and Queen who also knew Layla's parents.

"Do you know why our parents were murdered?" I suddenly blurted out. The King and Queen looked at me then to Alex, Sabrina, and Layla.

They let out a sigh and nodded. The King spoke in a low tone, "Let's talk about it in my office." We all nodded but the King diverted his gaze to Lucia and ordered her to go rest for the night. Lucia said yes and strutted out of the dining room but before that, she bowed at us especially to Alex since she already knew that Alex is their Princess.

Alex and I walked side by side while following the King and Queen.

The young boy nudged at my arms and then smiled widely, "So, you're going to be my big brother?" he whispered and I smiled at him then nodded.
