After coming out of the building, she raised her gaze toward the dazzling sun before walking into the sultry weather.

"Why are you still here, then?"

"Y-Your aunt told me to stay.She told me you're going to send some gifts on your parents’ behalf, so she'd allowed me to keep you company.She'd even given me taxi fares" she uttered cautiously while whipping out two one hundred banknotes.

She had to say that to convince him because she was afraid that lan might end up rejecting her.

However, lan's expression got even more frightening when he was staring at the banknotes in her hand.

He let out a chuckle.
