Sophie, with a smile, replied, "The internship lasts for less than a month. If I don't take her, someone else will sooner or later. It's better to keep her close. With her abilities, she won't cause any significant waves."
"Yes, Ms. Sophie."
Sophie hung up the phone. She was genuinely curious about what kind of strength Nichole possessed to climb to a high position on her own.
In the afternoon, Nichole received an interview invitation from S Corporation.
Nichole dressed carefully, stepping into the company in high heels. The interviewer glanced at Nichole and said, "I see from your resume that you’re a graduate student from Eastwood College?"
Nichole, somewhat smug, replied, "Yes."
"To be so young and achieve this much is not easy." The interviewer looked impressed.
Nichole felt even more extraordinary. After all, she got into Eastwood College on her own merit, and the graduate position was earned through her hard work.
The interviewer said, "We do have an internship position, but it's not for the deputy general manager."
"Not for the deputy general manager?"
Nichole frowned. She had anticipated that landing a deputy general manager position wouldn’t be easy, so she said, "My minimum requirement is to be a team leader in the Finance Department or in Accounting…"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
