She had been anxiously waiting outside the whole time.
When Leon walked out, Daphne hurriedly greeted him, "Leon, how is Hattie?"
Leon looked at the worried old lady.
If it weren't for the two deceased lives of Nevaeh and Selena, no one would probably believe that she could do such a cruel thing, judging from Daphne's expression right now.
Daphne's heart trembled as she felt Leon's gaze on her, and she asked in a trembling voice, "How is Hattie? Leon, please tell me!"
Leon lowered his eyes, "Grandma, what are you doing all of this for..."
Daphne's heart tightened, "What do you mean, Leon? What are you talking about?"
Leon's tone was icy, "Aunt Nevaeh is your own daughter. You lost her when she was young, and when you finally found her, shouldn't you compensate and love her doubly?"
"But what have you and grandpa done?!" Daphne asked.
"For the sake of Kiera, you ignored and hurt her, abandoned her, and even caused her death. And for Kiera's daughter, you and grandpa could be so heartless to ignore her for so many years..."
If the Riddle family had paid a little more attention to Selena over the years, how could that poor girl have suffered so much during her life? And how could she have died so young?
The blood drained from Daphne's face in an instant, and even her lips trembled.
But Leon's cold and sharp questioning continued.
"You knew that Aunt Nevaeh's death was related to Uncle, so why did you treat Hattie so cruelly?"
"Aunt Nevaeh and Selena didn't grow up by your side, and you didn't like them... but Hattie is the one you watched grow up, how could you bear to drive her crazy?"
"She's only thirteen years old..."
Leon took a deep breath.
Perhaps he was too angry, but this aristocratic young man didn't even care about his manners.
"What have Kiera and Penelope, those two bitches, done to deserve you and grandpa sacrificing all the Riddle family's daughters for their success and wealth?"
The last question was like a cold knife that pierced straight into Daphne's weakest point.
Daphne staggered back two steps. If it weren't for the servants of the Riddle family who caught her in time, she would have fallen to the ground directly.
She widened her old and cloudy eyes, trembling all over as she looked at Leon, seemingly unable to believe that her beloved grandson would coldly interrogate her like this one day.
Daphne was struck at the heart and erupted in response, "What can I do?! I love them both equally, but Kiera is the child I raised from scratch! Nevaeh..."
At the mention of Nevaeh, Daphne instantly broke down in tears, "I also want to make it up to Nevaeh, but she and Kiera don't get along, and even for the sake of one Callum, they are like water and fire!"
"Kiera has liked Callum since she was young, and she has been willing to do anything for him for over a decade! For the first twenty years of her life, she dreamed of marrying him."
"But ever since Nevaeh returned to the Riddle family, Callum never looked at her again, and he was even cruel enough to destroy Kiera!"
"When Kiera went crazy, she texted Callum, hoping that he would come to see her, but he didn't even satisfy this little request..."

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
