While Sophia headed for the corner where Drake was hiding in her high heels, the latter hid away.

Sophia indeed needed a phone right then.

She took it over. "Thanks."

"Not at all."

Sophia returned to her apartment and found the phone was turned on. There were also signals. Before she made a call, Chloe called.

"Hello, Sophia? How did it go? Have you resolved the matter?"

Sophia realized a SIM card had been inserted. It was late at night, and the employees of the wireless operators should have knocked off already. Only Drake could have things done so rapidly.

"Well, It's resolved," Sophia replied.

She briefed Chloe on what had happened and how she had solved the problem.

Chloe breathed a sigh of relief. "Sophia, I'm sorry. I insisted on asking you to come here for my wedding, but you had such an accident."

"It's alright. No big deal."

"But 200, 000 dollars..."

Before Chloe finished her words, Sophia snapped at her, "What do you mean? Do I lack 200, 000 dollars? You are my bestie. Don't be silly."

In the living room, Sophia thought for a moment and decided to text Drake to thank him. However, she wondered if his number had changed. She entered his number and typed, "Thank you for the phone. How much is it? Give me your bank account number. I'll return it to you."

Sophia knew he still used the same number after seeing the message was successfully sent.
