"Eileen, don't speak to me like that in front of so many people. It makes you look rude."
Paige wanted to calm people down. But Sophia and Drake wanted so desperately to find their daughter that they couldn't stay there calmly.
Instead, they walked into the Greenspan Residence at the same time.
"Sophia, Drake! This is my turf! You can't go into it without my permission!" Mrs. Greenspan yelled.
"Eileen, if you don't want them to break in, then take the child out. She is only two years old. How can you do such a thing?"
The more unreasonable Mrs. Greenspan was, the more sensible Paige looked.
Paige made herself look more like a decent woman than Mrs. Greenspan by comparison all these years, just to make people believe that she could be a better hostess of the Greenspan family.
"Fuck off! Stay where you should!"
Saying that, Mrs. Greenspan kicked her away to chase Drake and Sophia.
Yet the next second, Aiden walked in.
"Eileen, what are you doing!"
With the help of the servant, Paige stood up slowly. Covering the place where she was kicked, she said weakly, "Aiden, don't blame Eileen. She had suffered a lot because of Noah's thing. It's natural that she gets a bad temper."
"Natural? Is it natural that she takes it out on you? Call the doctor!"
Paige was very cunning. At home, Aiden had long regarded her as his second wife.
"Aiden, I am fine, seriously."
Paige's kindness made Aiden hate Eileen more.
"Guards, lock Eileen up. She can't be released without my order."
Mrs. Greenspan looked at him in disbelief, "Aiden, do you really mean it?"
"I am being merciful enough. Do you know many people you have offended? I am being nice enough not divorcing you today."
"What? You want to divorce me?" Mrs. Greenspan asked in disbelief.
"What are you guys waiting for? Take her away!"
The guards came before Mrs. Greenspan.
Aiden never went so far, but now, in front of so many people, he was going to put her under house arrest.
"Aiden!"
Mrs. Greenspan roared loudly.
But Aiden acted as if he hadn't heard it, and signaled those guards to act quickly.
The private doctor had come, and Aiden comforted Paige, "Paige, go have a check. I need to handle things here."
"Aiden, just go ahead. Don't worry about me. I'm fine."
Comparing Mrs. Greenspan with Paige, Aiden felt that Paige was lovely and would be a better wife.
Aiden turned to the Lawsons and said apologetically, "I'm sorry for what my wife has done. If I hadn't neglected my responsibility to teach her to act properly, she wouldn't have done so much to offend you. Please don't bother yourselves arguing with her."
Abbott stood out, "We understand, but I can't stand the fact that she hid my granddaughter."
