Laura was still upset. Drake's words made her feel worse. "It's your wedding day today. Stop saying something bad. I hope you can be well so you will take care of Sophia and Bonnie. If you died, would you have the heart to let Sophia be in charge of everything once you had another child?"
Drake hurriedly echoed her, "Yes, Mom. I was too inconsiderate. Sorry for that."
Abbott walked to him and propped his hand on Drake's shoulder. "I haven't known you as long as knowing your mother, but we trust her personality. We trust her more than you."
"Brat, you married my most precious baby. I'm really enraged. However, I need someone to love, protect, and take care of my daughter. If you dare to bully her, I'll teach you a lesson."
Drake nodded. "Don't worry, Dad. I'll take good care of Sophia and Bonnie."
It was the wedding day for Drake and Sophia, so Bonnie didn't have any chance to get closer earlier. Finally, she took the opportunity to be with them.
Realizing something, she looked up at Laura and Abbott and asked, "Grandpa Abbott, Grandma Laura, are you leaving?"
Laura lifted her. "Yes. I cannot be with you all the time from now on. If you miss me, call me. I'll fly here to see you."
"OK. I'll miss you so so very much, Grandma Laura." Bonnie rubbed her cheek against Laura's neck.
Laura almost shed tears but she held them back. It would be embarrassing to cry out in public.
Very soon, Abbott grabbed Bonnie and held her in his arms.
"Little girl, you cannot only miss Grandma. You should also miss Grandpa."
Bonnie pecked his cheeks. "I will miss you, too, Grandpa Abbott. Very very much."
Abbott also became sentimental. However, as a man, he had to hide his emotion.
Before they left, Sophia hugged her parents. "Please take good care, Dad and Mom."
"Sure. You, too."
Sophia watched them sit in the jet and leave.
Holding her hand, Emma said, "Sophia, don't worry. You've become my daughter-in-law. I won't allow anyone to bully you."
Sophia chuckled, "I know, Mom. Thanks."
Emma also smiled. "Good girl! Finally, you married Drake. My long-cherished wish finally came true."
Aria approached them. "Sophia! My dear sister-in-law! I missed you so much. Finally, we can be together. We can go shopping in the future."
Sophia left Sealand quickly last time. After she was gone, she hadn't visited Emma or Aria for two years.
Therefore, others also missed her as much as Drake did.
Surprised, Sophia asked, "Why don't Drake and I live with you?"
Aria glanced at Emma. "Mom said you would be newly married, so you should stay in a separate house to enjoy your moments. We won't be the third wheels."
"Also, we planned to let Bonnie stay in our house for a few days. Bonnie has agreed. Right?" Aria looked at Bonnie with a blink.
Although reluctant, Bonnie could tell there was something awkward between her parents. She nodded her agreement.
"Right, Mommy. I want to stay with Grandma Emma and Aunt Aria for a few days."
Sophia knew she wanted to create a chance for her and Drake to spend time alone.
However, she accepted their kindnesses. After all, if she and Drake could become intimate again, it would benefit Bonnie.
"Be a good girl and listen to Grandma Emma and Aunt Aria, OK?"
