Sophia choked on her words.

"Can you let go of me? Do you wish to do nothing but stay in bed on the first day after getting married?"

"What's wrong with it? Besides, we've wasted two years. Shall we make it up?"

Sophia couldn't win against him verbally but only cursed him inwardly.

Breakfast was ready. Since Drake was too excited the previous night, Sophia found it difficult to walk downstairs.

Drake watched her from behind. Finally, he couldn't stand it and scooped her up.

"You should tell me you find it hard to walk. My legs, arms, and whole body belong to you."

Somehow, Drake felt pleased. At least, they were not as distant as earlier.

After she finished eating, Drake carried her in his arms again. Sophia was still wondering how to reject him, but unlike what he had said earlier, he took her to a place.

Sophia gaped at the scene. "When did you set them up?"

"Right after I knew Bonnie was our daughter."

He had been absent from Bonnie's many first-time experiences. However, he still could do something to make it up for her.

Drake knew children were fond of having fun in Happy Fair but didn't want Bonnie to play in other places, so he set up a children's amusement park for her particularly.

"This one isn't like the Happy Fair in Pinkerton. It's not open to the public. Only our children, Bailey's children, and Bonnie's friends can enter."

Sophia looked at him. "You won't dislike her, for she's a girl, right?"

Drake turned to her and knocked her forehead fiercely. "What's in your mind? Does gender matter?"

Covering her aching forehead, Sophia complained, "It hurts!"

"Now you'll remember your thoughts are all wrong."

"You are the only grandson in the Riley family. I don't know if Grandpa wants you to have a son to inherit the family," Sophia retorted unintentionally, but Drake got serious.
