"She has her point." Edwin was convinced.
Drake patted her hand again, trying to soothe her.
But how could Sophia not be worried when all her savings over these years were flowing out? If he continued to lose, they might even end up with no money for gas.
"My turn to be the banker?" Drake asked.
"Yes."
Her four brothers had their turn to be the banker and Drake was losing all the time.
But there was no anxiety on his face. Instead, he remained calm as if nothing had happened.
"Alright. Let's begin."
Somehow, they all felt something weird when he said the word.
To her surprise, in the following turns, Drake got Jack the whole time.
"What's going on?"
Bard was confused as he saw all his hard-earned money flowing back to Drake.
"Is he cheating?" Edwin also felt something went wrong.
Sophia refuted indignantly, "You guys are so lame. My husband didn't say anything when you were winning. Now that he won a few times, you guys started mumbling about cheating. Shame on you."
Bard defended, "It's not like that, Sophia. Of course he can win, but don't you feel it's weird that he's getting Jack the whole time?
"Of course not. He's lucky."
As she showed so much faith in him, Drake dragged her into his arms and kissed her forehead.
"Thank you for your trust, honey."
Damn it. PDA was so frustrating.
"Can't you guys be serious?" They were still single. They had no girlfriend to show off.
Drake answered them calmly, "We are serious. It's you who are questioning my skill."
"Can't I question you?" Bard asked.
"Are you terrified?"
Drake simply stared at him.
Bard was on the verge of freaking out. Why would he be terrified about playing cards? It was just the probability of Drake winning the game was far too high.
"No. I need to check what game he's playing."
It was totally beyond his imagination. If he didn't cheat, how could he end up with twenty-one every time?
Bard was about to move when Travis stopped him, "It's not necessary."
"What do you mean, Travis?" Bard looked at him curiously.
"He has taken each card into consideration. When he was shuffling, he has planned out where each card would show up."
"What?"
Bard had always known that people who were really good at card games could control them well, but for god's sake, they were businessmen, not gamblers. It was impossible, but his brother had put the word...
"Is it possible?"
Drake smiled, "I can teach you now that you are my brother as well."
"How?"
Bard came close.
Edwin even sat down between Sophia and Drake, pushing her out.
Sophia was utterly speechless.
Actually, not only Travis realized what Drake did, Sophia also spotted it.
