Chapter 451 Rashad Had an Evil Intention

"Yesterday?" Chloe patted Sophia's shoulder unhappily. "Sophia, why didn't you tell me? You only asked me to come out for lunch today. Why did you do that?"

Rashad chuckled, "It's not her fault. After arriving, I returned home and didn't have time to meet you until today."

"Home? Do you have family here?"

Sophia explained, "Chloe, you'll be shocked. Rashad is Drake's cousin. His father is the older brother of Drake's father. The Old Riley had two sons back then."

Chloe recalled it carefully. "It seemed so. The other son passed away in an accident years ago."

"Exactly. He was married then, and his wife was Rashad's mother. Since Drake's uncle died suddenly, Rashad's mother couldn't bear the sorrow, so she left home."

"Shortly after that, she found she was pregnant and thought it was a gift from Heaven. She gave birth to Rashad and brought him up alone."

Chloe finally understood. "So, Rashad is Drake's cousin and one of the Riley family."

Sophia nodded. "Exactly."

"Geez! That's too coincident." Chloe studied Rashad carefully. "Well, you look similar to Drake in many ways."

Sophia had also found it.

Rashad added, "My mother brought me back to the Riley family yesterday. After all, I'm one of the Rileys, so I cannot stay outside alone. Besides, although my father has passed away, I want to meet my family. I'm thrilled to return."

Chloe sensed something wrong while listening to him, but she didn't show the confusion on her face.

Chloe raised a glass of orange juice and clinked his goblet.

Rashad raised his goblet. The three made a toast.

"I was worried about being lonely in Sealand. Fortunately, you both are here. We shall keep in touch and hang out often."

After obtaining several contracts for big projects, Molly treated her clients to lunch. Coincidentally, she saw Sophia and her companions.

"Ignore her."

Sophia didn't have the mood to fight against her rival in love every day. She'd rather use the time and energy on something meaningful.
