"What if I can't give up on her?"

Sophia found that there was something wrong in Rashad's eyes when Rashad was looking at her. However, she didn't know why Rashad seemed so strange.

"But you have to, right? You can't be the other man!"

Rashad clenched his fists again.

"Forget about it, Rashad. We are no kids now. There is always something that we have to let go of. If you don't, you will cause her a lot of trouble."

'Well, should I really give up on her?' Rashad thought to himself.

Molly who was driving the car saw Sophia and Rashad not far away. She wanted to take a photo of them but found that they were not that intimate. Then an idea hit her. She drove right toward them.

Rashad noticed the car soon and unconsciously hold Sophia in his arms to avoid the car.

Molly managed to get the photo she wanted. Then she turned the steering wheel and drove away.

Rashad looked at Sophia and asked worriedly, "Are you alright?"

Sophia saw the concern in Rashad's eyes. It seemed that Rashad toow her as more than just a friend. She frowned and thought, 'Is me the woman he can't give up on?'

Whether that woman was her or not, she should disengage herself from Rashad's arms because he was not her husband and he was Drake's cousin.

Then Sophia said, "I am okay. Thank you, my dear cousin."

The way Sophia called him surprised him.

He looked at Sophia and wondered if she knew about his feelings for her and tried to remind him in this way.

Rashad didn't intend to follow her.

He was indeed trying to sound out Sophia but he didn't want her to know about his feelings for her now. However, Sophia was a smart woman and she would definitely find something fishy.

Sophia kept wondering if Rashad really liked her after she returned to her office.

She didn't know whether she was right because Rashad never confessed his love to her when she was out of love.

She immediately denied her thoughts. She didn't believe Rashad would like her.

Sophia's assistant knocked on the door, walked in, and reported, "Ms. Lawson, someone from the sales department called and told me that there was something wrong with the marketing. I think you need to check it.

Since the sales department called, they must have had trouble dealing with it. Therefore, Sophia surely needed to go to the sales department for a check.

After Sophia got there, the sales manager briefly told her about the problem they were facing.
