Fiona almost burst into tears in fear. She raised her voice and added. "I'm so sorry, Aria. From now on, I won't talk bad about you anymore. If I do, you can hit me. I do apologize."
Paul pulled her into the corridor and tossed her to the floor.
"Listen. If you insult Aria again, I won't let go of you like I do today."
Fiona nodded desperately while weeping.
When Paul was about to take Aria away, she shook his hand off.
Paul was baffled, wondering what she wanted to do and if his behaviors had annoyed her.
Paul was afraid of losing her.
The next second, Aria strode towards those women and slapped them across their faces.
"Do you think this matter is over? Of course not. I don't mind the rumors about me, as I've done ridiculous things before. How dare you insult Paul? Your apology to me isn't enough. You should say sorry to Paul. Now!"
Paul watched her in a daze.
Sophia looked at Drake with a smile, seeing him smiling at her too.
"If you refuse, my brother and sister-in-law will buy out your families' companies. You'll all go bankrupt."
Earlier, Fiona apologized to Aria because she would be killed if not. Also, she was afraid of the Riley family.
Besides, if they had offended Aria, it would mean that they also offended the Duncan, the Price families, and the four most influential families in Pinkerton.
Therefore, if Aria wanted them to apologize to her, they would do it. However, they were reluctant to apologize to Drake's assistant.
"Unwilling to apologize? No problem. My brother and sister-in-law are dining with me together. I'll tell them now."
Those women panicked and didn't expect Drake and Sophia to be there as well.
First, they didn't believe her. However, once they raised their heads, they saw Drake and Sophia.
In fear, they immediately apologized to Paul.
"Mr. Parker, I'm sorry."
"Please let us off, Mr. Parker."
"Mr. Parker, I know you are generous. Please forgive us."
Paul looked at them but didn't accept their apologies, as they did so for the Riley family's sake.
However, he didn't express it.
"This matter is closed," he uttered.
Aria could tell he wasn't as happy as she had imagined.
Walking to him, she asked, "What's wrong, Paul?"
"Nothing."
Paul and Aria returned to the private box.
While they continued to eat, Paul looked as usual. However, Aria sensed something was wrong but couldn't explain why.
After dinner, Paul sent her home and left quickly.
Aria whispered to Sophia, "I want to have a talk with you, Sophia."
"Sure. Let's talk over there."
