Chapter 567 A Coincidence

Sophia immediately followed them. The men were searching every room, acting as if they were customers here.

Paul walked in from outside and whispered in Drake's ear.

Of course, Drake knew that those men weren't sent here by Sophia. She wouldn't do such a thing.

Thus, it meant someone else knew their meeting in the restaurant.

"What should we do?"

Drake had asked the waiter to pack up the food, he said, "Told the manager to deliver the food to my house."

He couldn't carry it or he might be recognized.

"Yes, sir."

When no one was noticing, Drake walked out of the room.

It was no surprise he would dine here. After all, he was one of the Rileys. Even though he wasn't in power anymore, he was rich enough to dine here.

He noticed the men that were searching for the King of the Underworld.

Drake could feel that some of them were staring at him.

Then, Sophia spotted him.

"Drake, why are you here?"

Drake was surprised to see her. He thought she had left.

"I'm here to pick you up."

"Pick me up?"

Sophia looked surprised.

"Yeah. You said you would have dinner here tonight. I had wanted to surprise you but you left when I got here. Hey, why did you come back?"

For a moment, Sophia wondered if the man she had had dinner with just now was Drake. But she stopped suspecting after hearing his words.

"I left something here but I've found it. Let's go home now."

"Okay."

They then went home.

The men searched for a long time but didn't see anyone suspicious. Their head called Rashad.

"Mr. Witt, he should've escaped."

Rashad wasn't surprised. Since he was the King of the Underworld, he must be a powerful man. It was normal that he wasn't found this time.

"But we saw Mr. Riley here."

Rashad was about to hang up, but he was stunned for a moment when hearing this name.

Drake? Was it a coincidence he appeared in the restaurant?

"Why was he there?"

"He seemed to be here to pick up Ms. Lawson. Ms. Lawson was having dinner here with someone and he came to pick her up."

Was it really just a coincidence?

Rashad told his men to come back.

When Sophia and Drake got home, Bonnie had fallen asleep.

Sophia complained, "You didn't have to come pick me up. You left Bonnie alone at home? Don't you think she will feel sad being left alone?"

Drake stroked her cheek, "It's okay. Bonnie was happy knowing that I went to pick you home."

"Besides, I was worried every time you were away. I had to go pick you up."

That was true.

When Sophia told him about the dinner, she did it because she was worried that the King of the Underworld might do something to her. She wished him to go pick her up.
