The old Mrs. Lawson chose to believe Sophia's words. However, it was a mere scheme for them.
At the beginning, Cathy didn't believe it. However, she just accepted it because of the high salary.
From Cathy's perspective, Sophia cared much about what her grandmother thought, and thus she wouldn't play tricks.
Nevertheless, without Cathy's knowledge, Sophia had told the director of the sales department about what he should do.
Cathy had worked normally for days. Her colleagues treated her very well. Although the director didn't visit clients with her, he did give her careful guidance.
After work, Cathy told it to her grandmother.
The old Mrs. Lawson smiled, "Cathy, now that you have worked there, you should hold on to it. No hurries. You will manage to get everything you want."
Cathy nodded, "I will, Grandma. I won't let you down."
As the old Mrs. Lawson had recovered now, and she refused to go to the Riley Manor, Abbott thought it was meaningless for him to stay and finally left here.
After work, Sophia decided to visit the old Mrs. Lawson with Drake.
This time, Sophia brought a lot of gifts.
"Grandma, there were always misunderstandings between us. I hope we will be harmonious and peaceful this time. We're family, aren't we?"
It was the first time that the old Mrs. Lawson had felt satisfied with Sophia because what Sophia brought here were all her favorites.
"Sophia, you're so generous."
"You're my grandma. And you've not been with me these years and I had no chance to do my filial duties. But now, I finally have opportunities to take care of you."
Sophia lied as if it was her second nature.
"By the way, Grandma, why not live in the Riley Manor with us? I can look after you better."
Last time, Sophia heard that her father asked her grandmother to move to the Riley Manor while she insisted that she would stay with William. And Sophia knew the reason.
No doubt that the old Mrs. Lawson looked as black as thunder immediately, "No way. I would like to stay here."
"Why? I can attend to you in time, and, in addition, Bonnie can accompany you. It's a wonderful choice, isn't it?"
"Don't persuade me. I won't."
Sophia said on purpose, "But you live here all the time, William and Bella must be tired. I think you should live with us!"
The old Mrs. Lawson looked at William and Bella, "Are you tired of looking after me? Did you complain it to Sophia?"
William thought it would be great if Sophia could take his mother away. Unexpectedly, her words got him into a deadly trouble.
"Absolutely not, Mom. It's the happiest thing for us to look after you. We will never feel tired!"
"Sophia, explain it!"
Sophia smiled at the old Mrs. Lawson, "Grandma, they never say that. It's my guess. I just feel pitiful that our filial duties are always done by William and Bella instead of ourselves."
"Never mind. I've known your good will but I won't leave here, but I need you train Cathy well. This is my only request."
"You may set your mind at it. I will take good care of her."
After the talk, Sophia even had dinner with them in the best restaurant of Sealand.
It could be described as a wonderful visit.
