Sophia had been looking for a chance to speak and glanced at Travis and Helena.
Laura had also noticed it, "You got something to tell me?"
Sophia took over the baby, "Mom, before we tell you, we have to make sure you can take it."
"Oh? You even took the baby away! You think I'm gonna make a fuss?" Laura smiled.
"It's hard to tell. It's something big!"
Laura was very curious. So was Abbott. But they didn't see Cathy coming over with Mr. Knight and overhearing their conversation.
Mr. Knight followed her eyesight, and asked, "You know them?"
"No." Cathy was about to leave but stopped abruptly when she heard the familiar voice.
"What?" Laura heard Travis' words and was too excited beyond words, "Helena is pregnant? And she's carrying twins?"
Cathy frowned. The third generation of the Lawson family was on the way! Though Sophia's daughter Bonnie had the family name "Lawson", she was still the child of the Riley family. But things were different in Helena, who was carrying the real heirs of the Lawson family.
Her parents got a divorce because they didn't have a son. She couldn't stand it when Abbott and his family had it all.
Laura looked at Abbott, "Did you hear it? Helena is pregnant. We're having grandchildren!"
Bang! Abbott passed out of excitement while Laura was over the moon.
"Dad! Dad! Wake up! Are you OK?" they cried.
Fortunately, Abbott was fine. He woke up and said in happy tears, "Helena is carrying twins. What a happy surprise! Thank God! God blesses the Lawson family! We'll go see your grandma later. She must be very happy to hear the good news!"
Cathy disdained them and swore she wouldn't let them have it their way!
They had also told Emma and Baron the great news. Even Aria had heard about it. But they just kept it between the relatives and close friends since Helena was still in early pregnancy.
Not long later, Cathy came to them with a glass of wine.
"Travis and Helena, congratulations! I heard the good news!"
Travis stepped forward to protect Helena, "Thanks. But please stay away from my wife."
"Don't be so mean, Travis. I've always got on well with Helena. You're carrying on the family line of the Lawson family, and I'm also part of the family. I just wanna say congratulations. What's the problem with it? " said Cathy unhappily.
"You know better than anyone!" said Travis harshly.
"Travis, I know we're only cousins, but both you and I are Lawsons. Why are you so mean to me?"
