However, somebody walked into Sophia's office and it happened to be one of the assistants. What the assistant saw made her blush and she ran out of the office as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Drake was finally willing to let go of Sophia, who also blushed and said, "What are you doing? I shouldn't let you in at the very beginning!"
Drake signed and teased, "Oh god, what should I do? My wife would miss me so badly if I hadn't come. But now I'm here, she wishes me to disappear." Saying that, he shook his head, pretending to be quite disappointed.
After that, they continued to unwrap the presents until both of them felt tired. Then, Drake received a call and left. Though there would be a big party tonight, Sophia was filled with happiness at the moment.
Soon, it was time to call it a day. Getting out of the elevator, Sophia was going to start the car when she ran into someone who said joyfully, "Happy birthday, Sophia!"
Sophia exclaimed out of surprise, "Bard! Is it you?"
Bard said, "Yes, I'm here for my dear sister's birthday. I'll never miss your birthday and I'll come no matter how busy I am."
Sophia hugged him excitedly, "Bard, thank you. I love you!"
"Here, this is my present for you."
Sophia took it. Though she knew Bard's gift would never be a big surprise, she liked it anyway.
Before Sophia could get into the car, Edwin suddenly jumped out. "Sophia, not just Bard has come. I'm here too! Happy birthday!" He then walked forward and held Sophia into his arms tightly while Sophia was nearly crying.
"My god, you guys are so annoying. Why do you show up one by one like this? I am so overjoyed that I nearly burst into tears!"
"See? I said Sophia wouldn't like this kind of surprise." Charles walked out from behind, which quite ruined Edwin's plan, so he shouted, "Charles! I told you to wait! Why do you come out like that?"
"Haven't you heard what Sophia said? She is going to cry." Charles didn't care about Edwin's plan at all.
"Gosh. You ruined the big surprise anyway!"
Ignoring Edwin's discontent, Charles walked to Sophia and gave her his present. "Sophia, happy birthday."
Sophia took his gift and hugged him happily. "Thanks, Charles."
Just like Bard, Charles wasn't the kind of person who keen of surprise. His gift was always the models he designed. Though Sophia had received a lot of models, she still expected Charles's gifts.
As to Edwin, he complained fiercely, "You guys are not cooperative at all. I've prepared a little speech but now it doesn't seem necessary." He then looked at Sophia and said with a bright smile, "Sophia, here, your birthday present."
However, Sophia was quite hesitant for she was afraid that Edwin would give her sex toys as he always did.
Edwin explained anxiously, "Ah, you're married now. It's fine!"
Sophia finally received it. "OK, give you one more chance."
"That's my girl!"
