Chapter 706 Sophia, I am not an idiot!

Though Sophia wasn't going to tell Drake, she ran right into her husband when she was leaving.

Drake asked, "Where are you going? It's very late."

"There's an emergency about my business. I have to go back to the company." Saying that, Sophia left.

Drake frowned at her answer. Sophia seldom went to her company in such a hurry so Drake couldn't help but doubt that she was up to something else.

Meanwhile, Sophia arrived at the given address when she received a phone call.

"You don't take any money, do you? We'll kill her and that's not a joke!"

But Sophia smiled, "I suggest you do some research before the kidnapping. Don't you know that my relationship with Cathy is quite bad?"

"I'll kill her! You hear me?" Though sounded worried, that man pretended to threaten Sophia.

This time, Cathy shouted through the phone, "No! Sophia, help me! I'm so afraid!"

"Afraid?" Sophia nearly laughed. "What are you afraid of? You think I don't know you are with them? Do you think this is funny?"

Cathy had never expected Sophia would find out her plan but she kept lying, "Sophia, what are you talking about? They hang me up and they'll throw me into the sea to feed the shark if you don't give them the money. I know I've done things wrong and I'm so sorry. Please help me! I don't want to die!"

"Yeah? Go to hell!" Sophia hung up without hesitation.

She was supposed to play with Cathy a little longer but feeling disgusted, she was about to leave when she was suddenly surrounded.

"Ms. Lawson, how can you leave so quickly? We haven't given you a warm welcome."

Sophia wasn't surprised at this situation at all. These people must've been sent to ambush her. But she wasn't a fool. She would not come without precaution.

However, she pretended to be freaked out, saying while retreating, "What do you want?"

The leading one said, "You have two choices. Either you leave the money or you stay with us. We're quite busy so choose now!"

Sophia stared at them, "What if I choose neither of them?"

"Well, then we'll make the choice for you." Saying that, the kidnappers went for Sophia while Sophia tried to shun away.

These people were well trained but compared to Sophia, they were not good enough. However, Sophia intended to be captured by them. Therefore, she was caught before long.

The leading person sneered, "You're a tough woman, you know? But you can't run away from us. What a pity."

Then, these kidnappers brought her to a shabby house. The leading person said to the man in front of him respectfully, "Mr. Knight, we got her."
