Chapter 722 Sophia Disappears

Sophia walked out holding the divorce certificate which made this day unimaginable for her, and yet fate always surprised her unexpectedly.

After putting away the certificate, she headed towards the hospital.

Without being noticed by anyone else, Sophia showed Brandon the certificate.

"I didn't break my word; I've done it."

Brandon was surprised, for he didn't expect she would really keep her word.

"Why?"

Sophia smiled, "I never break my word, yet I have a request."

Brandon spoke nothing, waiting for her to continue.

Brandon looked at her, pondering.

Sophia knew her request was a bit too much, as it was good enough that Brandon was willing to save Drake.

"I'm sorry. I just thought that he could take better care of Emmie if he could recover well."

Sophia nodded, "Dr. Glass, don't worry. I won't reveal the truth of my divorce from Drake to anyone else. Meanwhile, I'll look after Drake to make him get better."

After parting with Brandon, Sophia saw her parents and Drake's parents.

They looked at her with surprise, "Sophia, is it true that Drake has waken up?"

Sophia pretended to be surprised, "Is it? I haven't seen him yet."

"Mom, you should go in to check on him."

"OK!"

They went in one after another.

Sophia stood outside, leaned against the wall, with so much pain in her heart. The period when she could take care of Drake was the last moments for them to be together. Thinking about the fact that they would finally break up and never see each other, she could no longer control her emotions.

As she entered the hospital room, Drake lay weakly on the bed, his face lighting up with a smile as he saw her.

Sophia tried to hide her emotions, "How could I? Even if you were disfigured and not as handsome as now, even if you went bankrupt and didn't have money like now, even if you had an illness that left you disabled for life, I would not despise you. I would still love you!"

Drake laughed out loud, "I didn't know you could say such things! Before, it was so difficult for me to hear those words from your mouth."
