"That's right," Sasha admitted readily with a barely noticeable flicker in her eyes. She continued, "I love Colton, so I won't let anyone cling to him—including your son."

The vigilance in Nicole's eyes grew. The previous investigation revealed that Hayden's poisoner was a member of Undercity. Now that Sasha has admitted it, could she… At the thought of this, she took a step back and asked, "You're a member of Undercity?"

She struggled for a moment. Then, as her eyes darkened, she warned, "Sasha, so what if you're the head of Undercity? I'm now the Wrenn Family's daughter. If something happens to me, the Wrenns, the Goulds, and the Gardners won't let you get away with it!"

Sasha didn't care about this at all, though. She pinned Nicole's arms down while pointing at her belly with her other hand, saying cruelly, "The sight of this little b*stard inside your womb makes me very uncomfortable. Say, what should I do with it?"
