Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 996

Chapter 996 You’d Better Pray That She’s Okay

The voice on the other end of the line sounded very urgent. "Mr. Gardner, Miss Nicole just fell off the building. She's now in the emergency room with severe bleeding."

Colton's initially stony face instantly showed a hint of emotion. He tightened his grip on the phone, feeling a bit suffocated while asking in a trembling voice, "You mean Nicole just fell off the building?"

"That's right. She's now bleeding severely and may lose her baby."

Colton replied frostily in a grim voice, "I got it. Please save her no matter what. As for the baby… It's okay."

"Understood."

After hanging up the phone, Colton looked steadily at Alvin before turning to look at those from Undercity who had been brought to their knees. He said coldly, "You guys had better pray that Nicole's okay, or I'll make your lives a living hell!" His deep voice was so sinister as if it had emerged from hell, while his gaze was so chilly as though it could stab like an ice-cold knife.

Roger heard part of the conversation while standing beside Colton. He asked with an anxious look on his face, "What happened to Boss?"

Colton didn't hide it from him. "She's fallen off the building and is now bleeding severely. That being said, I don't think it was that simple."

Roger's expression froze; his hands clenched into fists by his sides so tightly ‌that his knuckles could be heard cracking. He said with a vicious glint in his fierce eyes, "It was that woman's doing."

"It's still unclear at the moment," Colton said. Looking up at Julian, he ordered, "I'm going to the hospital right now, so you take care of the matters here. Keep a close eye on them and wait until I come back."

Julian slowly nodded.

Roger was concerned about Nicole, too. He caught up to Colton, saying, "I'll go with you."

Darting a glance at how anxious he looked, Colton quickly walked toward his car without turning the man down.
