Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3117

In the most luxurious VIP private room of Oceanus Club, the beautiful manager, Minerva Litt, was carefully serving a crowd of foreign patrons.

She gazed at the elegant woman who was the head of the foreigners and asked respectfully, “Would you like something to drink, Mdm. Vivien?”

“We have premium red wine, champagne, and whiskey, not to mention the best white wine in all of Eurasia.”

Vivien smiled. “It's not necessary. We brought our own drinks.”

As she spoke, one of her subordinates produced bottles of red liquid from a black briefcase.

There were no labels of any brand on those fine crystal bottles. Unable to contain her curiosity, Minerva wondered if her guests had brewed their own wine.

Based on her many years of experience in the industry, she was perceptive enough to discover upon closer inspection that the liquid in the bottles, judging from its concentration or its foam, did not resemble red wine.

What else is it if not red wine?

Minerva did not have the time to ponder the question as Vivien had already noticed her expression.

“What's wrong? Can't we bring our own drinks?” she asked smilingly.

“Not at all!” Minerva hurriedly replied. “Our employer, Mr. Eduardo, personally informed us that you are an honored guest of our establishment, and we are to unconditionally provide you with the best services. Mr. Eduardo also said that we are not to intervene even if you demolish our establishment.”

Vivien laughed. “All right. There's nothing left for you to do here. You and the rest may leave. One more thing. We don't like being disturbed when we're drinking.”

“Don't you worry, Madam,” Minerva said quickly. “You have my word that nobody will be interrupting you tonight.”

Vivien nodded, satisfied with the manager's response.
